If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Beloved,
I was in the black Hills of Wyoming. It was too warm for the amount of clothes I had on, but that was not going to stop me. I unbuttoned my wool shirt, stopped for a deep breath, wiped the sweat from my brow and continued the climb. I needed my inhaler, which was at home, so I just slowed down and enjoyed the quietness of the walk.. Squirrels were dancing around, blue camp robbers were ahead of me just out of reach. It was steep enough that I could reach out and touch the soil ahead of me. Both deer and elk were there, as was obvious by the sign on the forest floor. I had not seen Scott in 3 hours, but I knew he could take care of himself. As I stood there I saw a flicker out of the corner of my eye! Was it a squirrel, bird, or just a reflection?? Soon I saw it shift it’s feet, it had fur. It was a coyote! But he was looking down hill I was side hill to his south. As I raised my glass and let my eyes adjust I begin to see several deer moving, and as I quieted down I could hear them grunting, like men watching the super bowl and eating tacos. The coyote, was in the sun and he was beautiful! A golden color like I had not seen, while the deer standing in the scrub brush were the same color as the ground and branches around them! For several minutes I watched and looked.. The deer didn’t know who was more alarming, me or the coyote. I knew I was in a place very few get to be. These wonderful animals were living and I was joining in that afternoon with them. I decided that the coyote would have to wait until tomorrow for deer. I started talking very quietly until both the deer and the coyote began to look at me, like “what the heck”? I finally told Wiley the Coyote to get lost, the deer thanked me by whistling and snorting and the event was over. But I shall remember it always. A big old bear had use the forest floor for a bathroom. From the size of things, he looked to be a trophy! When the deer ran off, they raised their flag (tails) which are about 20’ of pure white fluff! (counting their white bottoms). So I just took out my handkerchief and said so long.. I saw the sun rise and set another Fall in the Mountains – I am a blessed man.. It won’t matter where they bury me, cause I will be set free. I have fought the fight, kept the faith loved and been loved. I love this place, thanks for reading.

Great post Lon, thanks for the mini-holiday. It was like I was there in the warmth of that day which was wonderful as it's dark, rainy and cold here.

Timo, My friend, we could use an inch of rain; but seeing the dows with the fawns, and the young bucks as they acted like they were the hot stuff of the woods, was so keen. I get to do what some men dream of, I know and I appreicate it. Nice to see you Timo.
