If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hello everyone.....So I was at the pain clinic on the 20th and they wanted me to continue with the Lyrica. I was taking 25mg a day they said to increase to 75mg twice a day. Wow big increase and for the first time in my life I was sportin a buzz......bigtime. After a few days it seemed my body was getting used to it. Then in a few days they wanted me to increase my dose again to 150mg twice a day. WOW....the pharmasist suggested I stay in the 75mg a little longer so I did that for a week. Two days ago I increased to 150mg and wow I am loaded. I hope my body gets used to this soon..... I can't see the key board on my computer cause the letters kind of float around. It's difficult to walk properly, I trip over my own feet and I think I talk weird...kind of like being drunk. Actually its kind of fun. I am only working in my store for the next few days and back at the Casino on Sunday so I hope I get back to normal by then..... So to get to the important stuff....are the meds working????? I think so...it was weird yesterday, I was sitting in my chair at work and I said to my daughter...."right now I have no pain at all" I can't remember ever being able to say that before !!!

when i first increased my lyrica, i felt the same way. I hope it gets used to yourself soon, but glad you are pain free. I ended up discontinuing it, because i had other side effects that weren't so hot. it seems that if it works for people, go 4 it!
take care sherri.

Gosh I wish I could get a buzz..lol I guess I have been on drugs so long that most of them don't seem like they work at all.
Im even on 150mgs of Lyrica a day.
I have heard alot of people that have had these reactions or worse to Lyrica. I have a friend who was suppose to take it and it just throws her for a loop.
I hope it works out, if the reactions or side effects are too much then dont do it.
Hugs,
Lisa

Hi Sherri,
"I can't see the key board on my computer cause the letters kind of float around. It's difficult to walk properly, I trip over my own feet and I think I talk weird..." Hahaha made me laugh ...is that bad??
I have no experience with Lyrica but I'm thinking I might need to get me some.
Really happy to hear you are pain free ...hope it stays that way!!!!

Hi Sherri,
Good to hear you were without pain, hopefully the buzz feeling leaves and you can stick with this long term.

Hi Sherri, It is good to hear that the Lyrica ia working, and that you are getting relief. I'm sure that your body will adjust to the higher dose. As I think I said I have a friend taking 600mg and he seems to motor along just fine.
Over the past 4 or 5 years I have become a pretty big fan of pain management clinics. They seem to have alot more options or at least are open to trying more options and know a little more about higher dosages of meds. Even above the limit that a GP might go with some meds. But they also understand living with pain and the effects of the meds that they give, and seem to find a middle ground.
Keep Kickin'AS Chris

Hi Sam.....sorry to hear you had other side effects. I haven't had any others other than feeling buzzed.

Lisa this is the first time I have ever gotten a buzz from any med...including Oxy. I am now taking 300mg a day of Lyrica. This certainly thrown me for a loop but I am being patient and letting my body get used to it....and I think it's working.
