Sitting here trying to unwind after tough day and tougher last week. Diane is having a less than wonderful pregnancy. I have this built in immunity to crises but worry because of how difficult every day of her pregnancy has been. It kills me to see her frightened for a second and I act like she's taking things too tough because she needs the postive reinforcement BUT when is anything in my or her life gonna be easy. I have AS and have it to the umpteenth degree, she has walked such a hard road it seems improbable that we'd meet and find happiness. Now all we want is family and it has been like waging a war. Finally she's prgenant and it's three so first wee're scared then we're feeling blessed and now every day is another scare of loss of one or more. I've been to hell and back and like most of you I spit on the devil's shoes every morning just to get out of bed, But this sweet little lady could use a big TIME OUT. I hope it's coming.

Dont worry Mr. Daddy-to-be...things will get better soon enough for you and the Missy. It's rough enough carrying one baby, much less 3 bambinos!! It took us a long time for Gianna to come into this world, then when we tried for Miss Sofia....we had our hopes crushed a couple times...then finally she decided that we were worthy of her chubby-cherub little presence. You all will be fine parents, and this Santos family will continue to keep you and the missus and the "wee ones" in our prayers...

Hi Steve,

I personally have had the joy of being pregnant yet, so I don't know what Diane is going through. I can imagine it must be difficult for the both of you. I am sure that your wife appreciates all the support you have given to her. And once your little bundles of joy arrive your lives are gonna change and enjoy every moment. I have you all in my prayers.

Lisa

I wish I could tell you that the good times are just round the corner for you and Diane, but I can't. Sorry my friend but I can't see into the future. But I will say this that the way you and Diane are fighting this thing together I am sure that whatever the outcome you will be strong and you will be there for each other. It must be so hard for you both to go through this, I really am not one for prayers out loud, but for you I'm making an exception. And I know that many others are too. Stay in there my friend.

Yeah, it's amazing the human race hasn't become extinct! Multiples are always hard pregnancies, but once Diane's past the 3-4 month part she should feel a bit better. I had very bad 24 hour sickness (actually felt my best in the morning) and it can grind you right down, like being seasick and no port in the near vicinity. Take care and ((((((hugs))))))) to both of you!

I hope Diane is feeling better soon. Maybe a visit in a couple of weeks, is just what she needs!

Send her our regards.

Steve,

Sometimes I think this is harder on the guys! I survived 4 pregnancies, but it was touch and go for Roger a few times! Hang in there, the morning sickness will soon pass. But it certainly feels like forever while it lasts. I've no experience with muliple pregancies, so I can't advise you there. My four came one at a time, so I was pregnant for 3 years! If you look at it that way, it may not seem quite so bad.

You all are in my prayers,

Cindy

Holy Triplets Batman.

Steve,

I tell you what. I was in a car accident less than 1 month after my third child was born. I have a nine year old boy, a five year old boy, and a 2 year old girl. In fact it was that car accident that brought on the greater symptoms of AS. I was in bed for three months after I was released from the hospital. And that is when my pain reach its peek and hasn’t lightened up since. Half the time when I don’t know how I can make it that day, it is my kids that brighten things up. My little girl Hannah (yes she has Daddy wrapped around her finger) always brings me hope. Even though it is hard, it will be worth it. I know that these kids will provide a deeper inward strength for you and your wife, than you yet have. Mine do for me. Everything will be better when they are here, harder but better. It is all worth it.

I wish you the best,

Brett

Hi Steve,
Sorry things have been so tough on you and Diane. I'm sure better times are just around the corner. Hang in there buddy. My thoughts are with you both.
