If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi Gang... Had my first shot of Humira today, had to have it at hospital with an allergy specialist in case he needed to epi pen/ adrenalin me back from a reaction...(rheumy was worried after the Enbrel drama).. thankfully all was uneventful and i just sat around for 4 hours incase anything wierd happened. I also got some serious pain meds/muscle relaxants last week and have been feeling a lot better... and i'm getting better sleep, less spasms etc. (pretty spaced out though) Fingers crossed on the humira. thanks/cheers... hope you're all good. Rob

Thanks guys... Yeah will be interesting to see if it picks up on my fused bits where most of the intense pain comes from... Have you noticed any settling or dulling of your damage related pain Kevin? Oh and do you take pain meds? I just started on endone...seems to be pretty strong stuff and quite effective!.... Good luck with your appt this week... would be also intersting to see how your esr/crp numbers are doing after four months on tnf's... Rob

Hi Rob, Iwill let you know how my esr/crp numbers are when I go to Rheumy on Thursday. As for pain my pain levels seem to be all over the place at the moment Im getting pain were I havent had it for years so its difficult to tell but no I dont think its helping were Im damaged. For pain I take co-codamol 30/500 with Tramadol 50mg certainly helps the pain but sends me to sleep. Cheers Kevin

Good luck with your humira rob! I have been on it for two weeks now, did my first injection on my own yesterday! It has started to work already as my esr is falling. But I am not feeling any better am still in stupid amounts of pain and constantly feel like screaming! Not sure how long it does take before you feel some relief? Hope all goes well

Hey Rob,
How is the Humira going? I hope this works out better than the Enbrel ... so far so good it seems. Good to hear the pain meds are helping out.
It's warming up here, fingers crossed you will be all set for summer.
