Thanks for sharing Michelle. I love it. Contraband Days are such fun anyway. I can just see that flip off the boat and the cry for Help and your dad's response.

I am glad you could see the humor in the service also. We try to make ours celebrations of life anyway and we have quite a few funny stories told.

I still after 10 years occasionally will think "I need to tell Dad that." or after 5 years say "Oh Mom will love that." I know they are always in our hearts. My grandparents are also.

Hugs Sweetie.

LINC.... I'm having a rough night with it, I miss her so much....I'm looking through the "special box" of things that Mom put together for me, she did that for each of us kids and the grandchildren too, in my box I found the Gutenberg Bible that I have always loved and I had expressed a desire to have one day...it's absolutely beautiful and I'm honored that she left it to me....

I have a feeling, from what you say, that your mother would have appreciated that. Thanks for telling us that story. I can just see the pastor fumbling to correct himself. Was the look on your father's face similar to the one when he corrected your mother on 'elp'?

Love and hugs,

Michelle, what a lovely thing for your mother to do. If you don't mind, I may borrow that idea.

Love and hugs,

I don't mind at all Kat....there was also a hand-written letter inside each box and there were cards already sealed and addressed to each of the grandchildren on her dresser, all my sister had to do was put them in the mailbox.... ...the return address on them was

Always in You Heart,
Heaven,
The Kingdom of the Lord

Thats really lovely Michelle shows what a lovely person your mother must have been . She new that her passing would be harder for the family she left behind and that by doing this it would help you all.
