That's great to hear Zernike! I am dealing with my food allergies/sensitivities using NAET process. I didn't believe it until I started going thru it. Nearly EVERYTHING I ate negatively affected my joints/ligaments/tendons. Even cold & pressure changes did and we are in the process of clearing it all. We just ran out of money to continue the 'deep' things, but I have watched & figured out how to clear my family from every-day things & foods to keep their bodies straight. The NAET also determined I had NO bacteria in my body (kleb included) although I was sensitive to klebisellia & if I got it, it would have caused problems. So we cleared that sensitivity asap.

I am excited about adding LDN to my regiment! I've also worked with my friend to figure out my homeopathic constitution.. silica... which makes sense of everything when I look back and put the pieces together. I push & push my body & mental to the limits where I broke myself in the Navy. And I still push myself until I crash. I have to learn to STOP before I do more damage. So I take my remedy too.

Btween all 3 therapies, I am noticing nice changes. Slow changes, but still on the UP instead of down.

Interesting video. There is also thought LDN works by stimulating IL 10 which is an anti-inflammatory cytokine. IL 10 may suppress inflammation in the body. The endorphin idea is also a good theory that the doc who originating this treatment thought of but I am not sure we really know how it works and he admits that it needs more research.

good luck on the LDN. I remember some very very vivid dreams LOL

no dreams....yet.... I'm glad it works with small side effects vs the other options.... too bad with FDA & other big pharma, we may never get the 'necessary' research. oh well. Too bad money is always the ruling decider.

Oh another note I just remembered.... Candida will nullify LDN's effect! how strange is that?! but for those that have started with success & then lose it are told to check for candida. Same goes for those who start it with no change....

Trudi, can you provide a citation for this? I've never read this. It is giving me pause before I get my script filled. I'm in an ongoing battle with the yeast and am currently on antifungal medication. Thanks.

Kind Regards,
Jay

I crashed really, really hard yesterday and did not feel well. I didn't have a lot of usual severe pain, more mental exhaustion and I was stiff. A pressure change occured which was the source of my pain. Day 3 of LDN and I love it because it makes me sleep soooo well. Nothing like when I've taken muscle relaxers or anything. I have great, restful sleep but do not wake up groggy at all! There's a chance that being on LDN will help my weightloss. I am crossing my fingers!!

no official citation. Just seems to be something that is noticed among LDN'ers and the first thing that is said for those that say LDN is not working for them.

Are you on a low-no sugar diet while on the antifungals? I went thru a month of Diflucan to greatly reduce my candida and then I only needed 3 days of something my accupuncturist uses that is called 'yeastex'. Also, make sure you are filling yourself with good bacteria otherwise you'll never get the candida in control!

hi,trudi
i also started ldn the same day as you i.e 12 april .this is sure going to be a very historic day of our lives.
noticed some relief on first day but now no relief and pain has increased a bit. no dreams. only a mild headache throughout the day.
with your permission can i post my experience also here along with yours since we started the same day and having multiple threads won't be that good.

Hi,
Are you from India. If it is, can you tell me the brand name of the medicine, LDN. Post your experience so that all the members can get more information. Also, about your severest symptoms faced and the effect of LDN.

Regards.
