If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I started my LDN last night. I was scared I'd get 'scary' dreams, but did not. A little off-typical for me but I had a good time sleeping. It could have stemmed from tiredness from dealing with my 3 yo who has been running fevers thru the night the past few nights. Here's a video I watched last night that explained it very well how LDN came about & how it works! Part One Part Two Part Three Today I woke up feeling ok but was in a really, really silly mood all day. Quite a bit of energy and everyone commented on my odd behavior. I just said I was on opium! LOL! It was a good day today of not so bad of pain. I am anxious to see what full strength will be like for me.

Interesting video. There is also thought LDN works by stimulating IL 10 which is an anti-inflammatory cytokine. IL 10 may suppress inflammation in the body. The endorphin idea is also a good theory that the doc who originating this treatment thought of but I am not sure we really know how it works and he admits that it needs more research.
good luck on the LDN. I remember some very very vivid dreams LOL

I remember being really giddy and silly for a while when I started LDN, but that may have been just because I felt so much better. It may have been a straight endorphine thing though! I'm watching the video now, thanks for sharing it! I like this guy, he's straightforward. *hugs* Bridge

Trudi - will you please keep us up-to-date with your progress on LDN, including any side effects and any improvements. I'm really interested in this and would like to learn how it works for you.
I watched the videos and it blows my mind that this is not better known.

Thanks for the videos. I like how he gets angry midway through video 3. I don't like, however, the title of his book (is it really necessary to promote Google? Are they the only search engine that exsists? I think not!). I also don't like the fact that he says he needs to hire a publicist for his appearances on Oprah and Jon Stewart show. It is one thing to want to disseminate the information to help people, but self promotion such as that is somehow shameless. Finally, as much of an issue I have with doctors and corporate medicine, it is not the wisest idea to say "don't listen to your doctor". Listen to you doctor and what he/she has to say. Do your own research too. Then weigh the information from all sources in making informed decisions. Good luck with the LDN Trudi.
Kind Regards, Jay

Amateur mistakes, I believe. And I'm sure his anger towards doctors is still fresh in his mind. I can understand his frustration with the medical field, FDA, AMA, etc because I am right there too with the feelings that most docs are not there to help ME. But my grievences are mine and I don't tell others to not go to their doc (honestly, I can go to jail for giving that kind of medical advice!) I just tell people there is ANOTHER WAY that doctors don't always agree with or know about.
Maybe he thinks a publicist is the ONLY way to get into those type of shows. As for his book title... does it really matter why he picked the title he did? It is unique and I'm pretty sure I'll remember it as well as others will remember it too!!
Maybe you can write your suggestions on his videos or his website..... I'm sure he could use some ideas to help 'tweak' his message!

I am on day 2 of LDN. Let me think of what is different already. I am not completely sure how much of my physical energy is from ldn because spring/summer is usually MUCH better for me.
But, my amazement is the change in my brain. It is like every last web & speck of depression/mental heaviness is wiped away .... This is BETTER than being on anti-depressants! I feel like my sleep is so much better too. No strange dreams *yet* but I am only on 1/3 the dose for 2 weeks. My morning foot swelling/pain is much reduced. I didn't groan in anticipation of stepping on the floor this morning.
I am totally embarassed about my silly behavior yesterday though. One guy likes to pretend to trip me every time I walk by... (he's an always joking kind of guy) so one time he did it I walked 2 steps further then fell to my knees on purpose! hehehheheheheeeee... I got up, said "Roger!" then continued to the kitchen in one fluid movement.
Then I heard the other guy give him a 'talking to' and he was defending himself that he didn't trip me! ROFLOL! I was such a little sh*t! LOL! The tripping guy is known for lying ......hehehhehe.. Oh my gosh it was TOO fun!! When I walked back to the room I told everyone that I fell on purpose! LOL! they were all looking at me funny and didn't know what to say. Normally I struggle to move around and they all are concerned about my pain and problems.
I made hubby watch the videos last night and am working on him to start to see if it helps his issues that stem from gulf war syndrome.. brain fog, fatigue, joint pain, IBS, anger..... I don't see why he wouldn't need an endorphin boost!

Hi, Trudi
I've been meaning to get back here and write a report. LDN has given me my life back. I still need to be careful what I eat, but my pain levels have dropped WAY down. I have even taken up running! Highly recommend LDN.
I get my LDN from Skip's Pharmacy. When I started on the lower doses, I did not get much relief...not until I'd been on the full dosage for about a month. I started last November and have been full dosage for about 3 months. I've experienced slow steady improvement, rather than an all at once cure. My doctor had never heard of it before and is so excited that he is now prescribing it for his other patients.
As far as diet, I was on a very strict no starch, no dairy, no chocolate, no citrus diet, which helped tremendously -- I went from being nearly crippled (extreme pain and restless leg) to functional. Even still, I often had considerable pain and was highly sensitive to every slight dietary change.
I am now nearly pain free (small ache here and there), and can eat dairy, citrus and chocolate, and 'occasionally' add beans, yams, potatoes, fresh corn, peas...still NO grains or artificial food ingredients (artificial sugars are especially bad).
Good luck, Trudi. I hope this changes your life as it did mine. It has been near a miracle for me!
