Carrots are what I call a "fringe" food... some have no issue, others seem to have problems. I think it most cases if you eat them raw there is no issue, it is when you cook them.

I have never had issues with carrots myself, eat almost daily.

I am happy NSD works for you. I have been on LSD since October. I have to have some starch because of Pre-Diabetes. I am hypoglycemic. I also have been dx with Fibro. Out of 18 points I have 18. However, when I was setting up my appts at the Mayo. I was told not to mention that. Apparently it is a dirty word there. The Lsd is making me any better, but it is not making me worse either. I will stick with it because I would rather stay Pre diabetic than actual diabetic. Keep us informed.

Thank you so much for your reply, that's such a relief. My husband eats carrots frequently but will now stick to raw carrorts.

I used to be hipoglycemic/pe-diabitic. It was really bad until I cut out the sugar and starches, Ive had no low blood sugar epesodes in a long time. You're going to think I'm crazy because it's not what most doctors will tell you but starches and sugars in high doses are what cause hipoglycemia and stoping them is the best thing you can do for it and No or little grains, I believe is the healthier way to go. It's also better for fibro.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure how. I'll check it out.
