I was diving home from Publix today gloating b/c I had save $47 (20% of my purchase) thanks to the power of coupons. I was happy and planning a nice evening of baking, cleaning and studying. I was waiting at a stop light and when it turned green I went. Out of no where a black honda slams into my passenger side knocking me into the car next to me. I spun around and the honda hit the other side for good measure. No one was seriously hurt and I know that is what is important. I am a bit banged up but will live. My car on the other hand....It was scheduled to go in for its very first maintenance today; 5,000 miles. I love my bunny (it is a VW rabbit) & miss it already Sorry, just a little pity party!
A quick ad for VW: I had a dozen eggs on my passenger seat and not one broke!

Hi RunnerGirl.

I'm glad everyone is okay. The other driver must have been going pretty fast to spin your car around. It's a shame to hear about your car though, it was so new. I didn't know they were still making Rabbits... I used to drive a 78 Dasher Diesel, kinda like a longer older rabbit in a way.

Take care,
James.

Sorry for your car, but glad you are OK. Hopefully the soreness will fade away, and the AS will go with it.

Oh jeeze, isn't it a horrible feeling when something like that happens. I'm so glad no-one was hurt, not even an egg. Please do get yourself checked at the doctor. We ASers tend to be a bit fragile and it may take a couple of days for any effects to show up. Better to be safe than sorry, yes?

Again, I'm very glad you weren't hurt. And totally get how you feel about the car. Especially one so new!

Hugs,

Kat

So glad you are ok....and sorry about the car.
Please take care of yourself... I know what being in an accident can do to the body... the first day after the accident I was fine and I thought for sure everything was going to be ok...but the soreness came the next day and stayed for a lot longer then I liked. Hope you luck out with no soreness.
