Most definitely and thank you for your ever articulate and pertinent thoughts.
Life suddenly makes sense. I was always the first to laugh (perhaps cruelly) at the tired, strained look of the new parent colleague - but no more. It's sympathy and joy at what I know they must be feeling although tired beyond belief.
Nothing prepares you for the emotional rollercoaster of parenthood. No one can tell you how you'd feel if your baby has a meninigitis scare at 6 months old - as we did.
Thankfully she's a happy healthy bundle of joy!

Gigs? what are those. A thing in the past for me - at least, going to see other bands. My band plays on, and Annabel has seen (or heard her daddy rocking out at a friends wedding)
Obviously I'll be training her up to play bass as soon as I can... along with the tennis lessons etc etc. Hang on. She's a bit small for all that yet. But she can clap her hands to music already... I think that's a sign!
