I'm so sorry to hear about this. I'll send good thoughts to the family.

I heard today that some of the local businesses pitched in together and sprang for the funeral expenses and gave it to the funeral home and the funeral home told Marcel's family that it had already been taken care of when they went to make the arrangements, I thought that was awesome! What a blessing!

I know, I've always wanted to have a happy news only program!! You know....and in Akron, Ohio today little Timmy Anderson found a small treasure under his pillow that was evidently left by the tooth-fairy! His cousin Susie, who viewers may remember from yesterday's special report on honor roll students, reported that she too had gotten a visit from the tooth-fairy the week before and we have confirmed several sightings in the area....

http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/10/19/ike.lost.caskets.ap/index.html

found this news story on CNN that reminded me of what you discussed in this post regarding your dogs and finding unearthed caskets.

thought others might like to read it too.

Hi Sue, the dogs and I are still pitching in where we can, it's a very difficult task though, both mentally and physically and it takes it's toll....thanks for posting the article, the scope of the aftermath of something like this is very hard for those not in it to understand and for many it's very hard to cope with the thought that people far away may think that our region has recovered from the devastation and that it's behind us, like any other situation, the worst thing that can happen to someone who's been through a traumatic experience is to not have their emotions validated, so on that note, it's important that people understand.
