Hi ladies!

I remember many of you told you flare because of hormonal cycles. I wanted to ask what it is like for you and how long does it last for? And does it happen every month?

I have never had any PMS symptoms at all really but now I have flared twice during menstruation. And it's worse flaring than after cheating with the diet. The stiffness lasts the whole day and especially my neck is so sore .

Any advice how to help this??

Thanks and hugs!

Kaisa

the big connection that i used to see when i had periods was that if my SI was going to be loose, misaligned, and inflamed, then it would happen about a day or two into my period, so i'd have to be really careful around that time, constantly adjust myself with a few isometric tricks my PT and physiatrist taught me, and even stay in bed with ice packs and wait it out and minimize the "damage" (inflammation, weakened muscles from spasming, etc) for a few days.
