Hi Lon - Sorry yr daughter has Crohn's (nasty condition). Good she has you to advise her.

Me? Ups and downs. Mainly OK though with sudden bouts of flares, and spasms of adominal pain. Sure do notice atmospheric pressure changes - far more than I used to. Ho-Hum.

Hoping to get back in the saddle again. Was offered rides out whilst in France, then my hostess withdrew the offer - real scared due to neck probs, spine probs and this darn metal shoulder... Don't blame her, heck of a responsibility. Not even a soft gaited horse but a diagonal moving one. Oh well.

There we are. Thanks for enquiring. You take care man.

Hi Molly,
Good to see you here. Sorry about the health problems. But I know you can tough it out.
Sorry about the situation with your hostess.
I think we learn over time to overcome all types of problems.

I am still taking strontium, Based on my body I feel it is working. I guess I will have to wait until my next bone density test to find out.
When I told the doctor I was not taking Actonel she still tried to get her technician to talk me into it altho the technician said there was no change in the test from the last time.

We, as you say keep on keeping on.

Take care
Doreen

Yea Doreen - Good to see ya gal. Great about the Strontium Citrate. Over the moon to learn that you are doing good with it. Don't forget to mention the fact that you are on Strontium when you have yr next bone density test, cause they have to calibrate differently for the SC... There is a different test they can perform, easier, not so convuluted. Forget what it is though (read about it on the Osteo forum group about a year ago.)

Good you held yr own when the techies were wheeled in! Good for you.

We sure do keep on a goin - you betya.

Molly
