That's too funny. My boss just always asks me what I'm planning in running into today. He came up to visit me today and we were in the lobby and we were running our mouths like normal. I turn to go out the door and instead of opening the door like a normal person, i'm not paying attention and flat out run into it. I mean smack.....he laughed so dang hard at me.....it's great....

And a rolly chair is the bestest ever for popping bubble wrap!

btw: bubble wrap is the greatest man-made invention of all times
if you want to see something funny....on youtube they have a career builders monkey commercial sequence and in one of them, there is a monkey rolling around in bubble wrap...cracks me up everytime...one of those things you'd love to do, but then everyone at work would certainly think you'd gone off the deep end

I've done that too!!

I was talking to a friend on the street one day not long ago. Turned around to walk away ... right into a lamppost! Honestly, it's not like I didn't know it was there! I walk by it several times every single day!

Many hugs,

Kat

Sarah,

I'm hoping your hips feel a bit better after getting the other knee worked on. While they may be bad according to the doctor you may get some relief in the hips when both knees are at the same level.

I'm hiding my bubble wrap from you guys, I just had to pick up a new roll where the kids found the old one and popped all the bubbles.

Oh it's definitely the greatest man made invention. Its such a huge stress reliever too!
I think some of the people I work with already think I went off the deep end, so maybe I should try it!

Isn't it amazing how many things you can walk into that you KNOW are there? I was just looking around my office and I don't think there's one piece of furniture in hear that I haven't run into. I'm pretty sure I've managed to hit into all of it. Maybe Grace should be my middle name!

Brent...
I'm hoping so. I'm hoping for any little bit of relief. I'll take anything right now. Between my shoulders and knees and hips, I might just go crazy here soon. I've been having really bad shoulder problems the last few days. If I sleep on my side for too long a time, my shoulder pops out of the socket and normally when I wake up I can get it back into the socket, but here lately, not happening! It's stuck and it's freaking killing me. I'm actually starting to get mad at my shoulder!

Right after I posted my last message, I went into my boss's office, got something off his meeting table, turned around to leave .... right into a chair by his desk! Almost went a$$ over tea kettle onto the desk!

He just looked at me and shook his head.

There was an office squash tournie yesterday after work. My boss asked if I was playing. "Good god, no," says I. He looked at me quizzically until I said, "Do you really want me hurtling around a squash court with my accident prone history?" He laughed ... funny, because it's true.

Many hugs,

Kat

That is too funny. Anytime any golf tourneys or anything liek that come up, everyone's like, we're keeping sarah away right. I'd be the one to swing the golf club to it the ball and release the club and send it flying!
I'm proud of myself today...I have NOT walked into anything, tripped over air or stumbled on the steps...Of course the day is young, it's only 2...so I'm sure I'll find something to walk into, trip over or whatever!

our company golf day is next Wednesday. They let me play. I have yet to hurl a golf club ... accidentally or otherwise (which cannot be said of our more competitive employees!). Besides, if I do the full 18, I am the only one who gets a golf cart. The rest have to drag the stupid clubs around. Me, I get the cart and because I have the cart, I can have beer on the course!!! I'm the most popular teammate here because of that! I'm only doing 9 holes this year, tho. Thank god. Can think of better things to do with my time than chasing a little white ball along miles of fairway. Liek sitting at the clubhouse and having beer! Well, coolers, anyway, as beer is not in my approved foods list.

So, it's almost 3. Tripped on anything yet? I haven't ... but then, I've been chained to my desk all day trying to get my boss off on vacation.

Many hugs,

Kat
