I know this probably belongs in the alternative group but I thought I'd run it by the general forum in case anyone's interested.

I just arrived to the radon mines in Boulder, Montana. I'm underground, testing the wifi connection on my pocket pc. My first impressions:

The town - stunningly rustic and beautiful. All the services you need. The drive up 15 was gorgeous!
The mine facility - much more than expected. I'm underground and it's really cool (pun intended). very clean and orderly. a comfortable place to spend time. the air smells wonderfully refreshing. a little chilly but heaters in sectioned off areas. taking deep breaths of this amazing air!
The facilitators - Professional, accommodating, knowledable and extremely friendly.

Overall first impressions: Extremely happy.

I'll spend 4 hours here today and then visit the local hot springs facility down the road, do some world class trout fishing on the Boulder River, maybe even go for a day hike with my dog.

About the only thing bad is that I really miss my wife and two babies back in New Hampshire.

I'll post follow-up reports in the alternative forum as my ten days progress.

Brad

I am glad you posted it here, I would have missed it otherwise. I am curious to see how it works. I will keep an eye on the Alternatives forum.

Good luck in the mines, hope it works out and you strike gold (pun also intended) in eliminating the AS

Yeah Montana! The state that put Obama over the top. No flames, no more politics; take it easy on me, I have AS.
