If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I just want to extend a Warm Thank You to everyone making me feel so welcome here.It is such a relief to read the posts here and know I am not alone! Although I have family members that "care",I don't think any of them have a true conception of what my reality is.
I was always the "glue" that held things together. My husband is Bi-polar...he is on medication...but still has many episodes. My son is 18 and autistic. He is on a waiting list for a special vocational rehab school. My daughter just turned 6. Sometimes my autistic son has the most compassion for me above anyone else. I think my husband is in a denial phase of the entire situation. This has really placed a strain on my relationship with him.
The statement "walk in my shoes for a day" always comes to mind.Yet I am faced with the reality that there are many people who have it worse than I. I just try to do the best I can.restless

Hi restless,
Your welcome here anytime to ask questions or vent a bit. We will try to answer any questions you may come up with as I am sure someone here has had a sympton you may question and if not there are most likely older post containing the information you are looking for.
We have all dealt with others not understanding and it appears you have been dealt more than any one person's share. I hope after the doctors get your pain levels to a place where you can tolerate them better that things around the home will improve. Extra stress can wreak havoc with the pain levels.

welcome... praise the Lord you are so strong! It is very difficult to be 'the sickest one in the family' but have to take care of everyone else non-stop! when my hubby gets one of his weekend migraines (most every weekend) it is almost a 'race' to see who gets the day off because of their 'sickness'. usually he wins and sleeps away while I'm left carrying the banner.... oh well! I know that one day I'll get my dues!! Otherwise, I'm learning to take it easy & slow down quite a bit when I'm in a bad flare....
take it easy & hang in there! see ya around!

Quick question... Does he drink a fair bit of coffee during the weekdays? Could be caffeine withdraw. If I waited too long before my first cup on Saturday morning or didn't drink enough to match my normal Monday-Friday consumption I'd get a nasty migraine by the afternoon. Just a thought.

I had similar issues when I consumed a lot of caffeine at work... "Weekend withdrawal".
I have now quit all caffeine drinks.... do eat an occasioinal chocolate.

I'm glad you found us. We're a friendly bunch, and try to help whenever we can. This is a great place to get questions answered, but it's more than that. You can come here for support when you need it, sympathy when you need it, or just a place to vent. You've got a lot on your plate right now, and my hat's off to you for being able to handle it all.
