Was at the drag race track in Cayuga Ont. on the weekend with my son and friends racing our cars and we met up with Marne (JrDragmom) and her husband Mark. We didn't have a lot of time to chat but it sure was great to meet them in person and exchange a bit of AS info. Hopefully we will get to meet again and talk some more. Here are a couple of pictures. First one is Marne and Mark and the second is Marne and myself. Dan

Another gear head with nitro in his veins here. Building a 70 Camaro spilt bumper pro street.
I used to do the heads for a top fuel drag boat - they flew me all over the country

Too cool, I love drags. Fast cars are where its at... Totalled one mustang I learned to drive on. Had for 6 years, bloody red lights. Have a second mustang purrs like a lion...Dreaming about a chevelle.

if i were to allow myself to waft back to the days of my joyously misspent youth...there
were things like surfing on the roof of moving cars stuff...
but hard driving....mmmmm.
i once made if from the fillmore on 2nd ave NYC. to a parking space in downtown hartford (ct- 115mi.) in 1:50.
my mom had a chrysler 300K (the orig 425/426 hemi)...on a road trip one day decided to let it run out,
got it up to the third digit in the odometer...over 130mph...what a car- lousy tranny great engine.
chevelle huh ? mighty mopar vs gm...oh those were the days.

Those pictures turned out rather well! It was wonderful to finally meet you Dan and your son. I totally understand how busy it can be running the cars, especially when there's no down time. (Hopefully their timing system gets fixed soon) I'm sure we'll see each other out there again soon. Next time we'll bring our dragster. Hey, I didn't realize there are so many gearheads on board.

Just thought I would throw these in here. This is what my children drive.  And this is what we used to race before children !!!! (The roadster) 
I can't think of anything snappy to write here at the moment, but I'm sure I'll come up with something eventually.
