Florida sounds like a good place to go right about now. I've been there myself camping in the Orlando area. It was great. Hope you have a great time, and get some relief, see you when you get back.

Hey there gang, I'm back  Had a beautiful week with my son and daughter. The weather was perfect. My Rheumy put me back on Prednisone for the week and I was able to enjoy myself, even walked the beach every morning and night  I sure wish there was a way I could physically feel like that all the time. I'm back off the Prednisone again and back to my normal miserable self, but it sure was wonderful for that week of relief. I have an immobilizer for my knee that I lock into extension and it won't buckle, so I could walk the beach without my cane  so that was a real treat too. I hope to be able to do that trip again the end of November. I definately will travel Southwest airlines again. They were so helpful in getting me on and off the plane and made my trip by myself much easier. I missed my daily visits to kickas. I missed a lot while I was gone and I will try to play catch up this week. I'll try to be back on and read some of your posts from the last 10 days. I hope I didn't miss any newbies. Cindy

Cindy, I'm so glad you had a good trip. Even tho you have to go back to real life now, a week like that, spent in a way that feels good, goes a long way to overall health and well-being. Welcome home to KA. Many hugs,

Wow, that's awesome  I have been considering a short course of prednisone so I can really enjoy my first vacation in 15 years in November, I guess it will all depend on how I'm feeling. I am so happy for you that you had a great time, and being able to walk to the beach without your cane, wow, too awesome for words! fishy

Oh Cindy, I am so glad you are home. I have been thinking of you and you are "one" of the main reasons I am here tonight to see if anyone has heard from you. I am so thankful that you got to go and that it was so much fun. If PT keeps helping me, I am going to use my ticket and fly South also here shortly. So glad you are back. Hugs.Possi

Hey Joyce, I've had you on my mind a lot lately, and so glad you came here tonight. I sure hope the PT helps so you can have the chance I had last week and fly south. It was such a wonderful, mentally healing week for me. I know it will help you to go and see those grandkids. I'm actually going to try again the end of November if all goes okay health wise. I'm now off the Prednisone again and things are getting back to miserable, but I will just have to deal with it in my own way until I see my Rheumy in 3 weeks. I think I need to have a serious talk with him and get him to really answer some questions that haven't been addressed over the last couple years because of all these surgeries. Anyways,. let me know how the PT is going. When's your next infusion? Cindy
