If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am interested in trying LDN and am fairly certain my doc will script it for me. How can I get more information on it? I have read about its use for MS, but not as much for AS or inflammatory arthritis, etc. Also, I believe there are some drugs you cannot be on while taking LDN?
Any info appreciated!

Hello
There are only a few of us trying LDN right now. Unfortunately there is no real Data out there on AS and only limited on RA. I am trying it for its effects on the immune system and AS is an Immune system disease.
I know you cannot be on any narcotic pain killers, or alcohol and LDN. AS far as I know that is the only real restriction. I would hesitate with the biologics and mtx as well.
No families take so little medicine as those of doctors, except those of apothecaries.

thank you for the replies.
I don't know if it will be an option for me- I am on Enbrel, Imuran, and methotrexate, morphine, and my disease shows no signs of slowing down.
But I will read further.

BarnGoddess - thank you.
Are you taking any other meds in addition to the LDN?
I wouldn't have a problem getting off the Avinza (24-hr release morphine). I am on a very small dose.

>> "alcohol and LDN"<< Hi there drizzit. I asked that same question of Dr Lawrence, http://www.ldnresearchtrust.org/ Dr Lawrence opines 'no probs' in moderation. I have a drink of wine, usually white wine, every evening 'cheers'. Molly Keeping on Keeping on

hmm lemme see . . . I'm on Neurontin 1200mg which helps with depression etc and (supposedly) with pain (i'm not convinced of that) Cymbalta 30mg for depression and pain (works great on depression, can't say it does anything for pain - but those 2 are for neurological pain) and Amitryptiline and Trazodone for sleeping (I'm the worst kind of insomniac - I also use 3 OTC sleeping pills - I have to rotate them) , Bridget also I'm on birth control pills for Endometriosis (and, well, for birth control)
