Hey was just to the dermatologist to get a mole removed and I have a few little red dots on my arm. She said that with some rheumatic diseases people get them. I think she said they were collaterized blood spots. I guess you can inherit them also..Anyone have these?

I have them too, but, I didn't know they had anything to do with Rheumatic disorders.

I have these also, quite a lot of them infact. I have even had one removed off my arm a few years ago as it grew so big is got caught on things. Have had them checked by a doc but was not told what they are just that they were nothing to woryy about?

Hi Lotus,

Not sure if this is what you are talking about..

I can think of 2, the first my husband has they are bumps that range in size and they are kind of like a blood blister, its not a blister but if you pop it or poke it all it would do is bleed, it will never go away and they are not dangerous.

The second which is what I have, it make me feel like I have acne on my arms, they are from my elbows up to my shoulders they are red slightly raised and if I scratch them they will come off might bleed a bit...not sure if that is what you are talking about, my Dr. said they just came with the territory to.

Hope it helps,

Lisa

Me too! I always wonder what they were. I have alot of them mostly on my arms and upper chest. All of mine are very small and you can see them better in the winter when I loose my tan. My rheumy knows about them but didnt seemed to concerned. Hmmm maybe I'll start to keep an eye on them...

I have them and the rheumie said they were nothing to worry about; usually autoimmune but sometimes just age related. I went to the dermatologist last week to get some "uglies" removed and she said the same thing. Nothing to worry about that usually everyone gets them sooner or leter and usually sooner with autoimmune problems so I checked that one off the worry list.

Blessings.
