If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Watch it, Mister!! Leave my Southernese out of it!!! By the way, the ONLY question was "What time zone will you be available to chat?" Sorry to all, I missed the "In". The question should have read "IN what time zone are you available to chat?" Forty lashes for me with a wet noodle!! Holly

Well let's face it, it is confusing . I am in +1 and I regularly chat with people in -8 with no problem just different times. When they are having coffee time in the morning I am having coffee time in the evening, no problemos.
Holly I only now see your last response. But then the question should probably be "In what time zones (multiple zones possible) are you able to chat" But I don't know if more then one answer would work in this form.

Gerard,
There was no way, without a myriad of options, to make a poll that included ALL available times to chat.
The purpose of the poll was to get a "median" consensus. For example... X amount of users are available to chat in X (+/-) GMT. From there, we can give folks an idea of times that overlap between the time zones for chatting.
For instance, if you know that are 3 users in compatible time zones for which YOU are available to chat, you might start a thread that said "I want to chat with folks between +1 GMT chatters and -8 GMT ".
Does that make more sense to everyone? Forgive me, I am a Geekess and forget to use English..even SOUTHERN English.. to communicate sometimes.
Take care!
Holly

I think the main problem people are having is going into the chat room and finding no-one there and so leave. I'd have thought a question asking what time would suit people most to meet for a chat is a better way to do it.
If a time is chosen to chat each day, or twice a day, people will know others will be going to the chat room. Say for instance if you decided to make it 8pm East coast US time, everyone would know what time people will be going to the chat room and can plan to be there for that time. It's easier for people to work out their time according to the time set to meet. If one chat time does not suit all, you could pick 2 say 8pm GMT and 8pm East coast US time.
8pm is only an example, maybe it's too early as people will be dining, bathing kids or watching their favourite episode of ER but the point is if a time is made everyone will know when others may plan to go to the chat room.
Just my 2 cents worth.
