Tonight on NBC's Dateline at 7pm the story will be about My Brother in law. It is not a pretty story, but one that needed to be told. Just thought some of You might be intrested....Gary

Yes I can. He was wrongfully convicted of murder and sentenced to death..He came within 5 days of being exicuted and was exhonerated by dna...Its a tough story. But hopefuly some good will come from his story being told. Mr Grisham will be talking about the story and the book tonight.

Thanks for posting that link ANON. I just finished watching it.
Gary I remember you talking about this years ago, and the story hit me then but to see this story with Ron and Dennis adding their words to it knock me for a loop. I cannot imagine what your brother in law and his friend went through. Let alone the families. And to see the reaction of the DA was appalling. I do feel for the people of Ada, Heaven forbid you get caught jaywalking.
It is truly a shame that Ron didn't get to enjoy more of his freedom.

Thank you for the heads up, I was able to watch it. What a story! Was he your sister's husband, or your wife's brother?
This is a horrible story, and must have been so hard for family members, to say nothing of both of these guys. It sounds like Grisham and Mailer are doing a good job of bringing the justice system in that town to light. That DA may be looking for a new job soon.
