If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I've read in many posts that people use butter, maple syrup and honey. Are they safe?

I have not used butter or maple syrup... have used honey now and again. Only watch out is that too much sugar (maple syrup and honey) can lead to candida.
Know of several that eat butter, I would probably buy organic myself if I trialed in the states (due to all junk add to beef).

HI - they are free from starch, so they don't lead to an AS flare for me. I agree, go with organic, I would even go for raw butter.........if I could afford it......it's 7.99 for a 8oz container in my Whole Foods! (and raw milk is 12.99 for a 16oz container!!!) I'd be more likely to get a cow, before I could start feeding that to my family.
I like to add pure 100% maple syrup to my homemade yogurt, but haven't had it for a while, since treating myself for Candida. I hope to be able to use it again, in moderation.

Butter: I have inconsistent reactions. Have vowed to use organic after doing better with that, but I don't use much butter at all, going for coconut or olive oil for fat. Maple syrup: yes, okay, use real. Not too much, very sugary. Honey: yes, okay, use real. ditto

It is interesting that you said you have had a few reactions to butter. I think I react sometimes too. I have just found that sometimes in butters they add something called annatto color to give it a better tinted color. I found this out because I reacted to it in a cheese resently and found out they sometimes put it in butter too.

I guess that depend on who you ask. Myself, I eat heaps of butter and it is 100% safe, maple syrup is beyond my experience, and honey is definately NOT safe for me.
cheers Andreas
