great article here announcing funding for AS research in Brisbane. Sells the females short i know but please try & ignore that bit girls lol - they have finally allocated some money to AS specifically.

We've had some great research success here in Australia the last 5 years particularly with cancers, so heres wishing them the best of luck.

Have a good day folks
Patrick

I wrote em Patrick. Accepted for publication... Website was a bit of a nightmare to bring up and then to send from - afraid I didn't do as well as I should have. But they have accepted (mentioned this group, of course!)

and i did say TRY And ignore the 'female' part of the article lol.

i sent them an email as well giving both this and the SAA site as suggested support for people.

my rheumy called me last night coincidentally and we spoke of the study - he knows Matthew Brown personally and will be part of the consulting Rheumys group so its a pretty exciting time. Again, crossing everything.

I had problems as well Tim, but kept on bashing away at it. got it in the end - after trying everythng...ensure you have all the nos at the end of the link. I had to pick up and put in my browser (letter box I call it!) Eventually worked.

Then they printed my response off twice. Oh well. But it is great that Australia is doing this study. Good news indeed - and huzzah for the funding, yes? Couldn't be done without the funding.
