If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

yo bert enbrel isn't a cure...it's a therapy... in the package literature you'll see a table showing that upon discontinuing enbrel symptoms will return usually within 30 days. ah...3 months...can't you call the pharmacy for a refill; you have to keep doing the stuff for it to work. if two a week work good...why cut to half the effective dosage ? you want half the magic or all the magic? if you read the lit carefully...you'll note that shot's will work just fine 'every four days'...this little variation in dosing let you get 14 weeks medicine from a twelve-week supply. best aB

If you are getting relief why would you want to cut down??? The doze is two injections a week not sure if it would have the same effect if only taking one.. When I had infection I was told not to take embrel pain and stiffness came back very quickly. I know this drug is very expensive according to my consultant £10,000 per year. I am very lucky as I qualify for it on Health service. Hope things work out for you cheers Carroll

Hi Bert,
I understand where you are coming from. I am on Humira and am trying to tailor my dosage according to pain. At the moment I am trying to go every 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks. Keeping the dose as low as possible and still control pain is my goal. I once tried to go as long as possible and after 1 month the pain came back. I am thinking for financial and also health reasons ( less drug, less side effects?) My rhuemy knows what I am doing and is ok with it. This is only my opinion and I am no way suggesting anyone else try it. Everyone is different and reacts differently to treatment so you and your rhuemy need to make a plan for you together that you are both ok with. I hope whatever you and your rhuemy decide works for you!!!

My AS lurches back into my life around week four of no Enbrel....it has worked for me, giving me back a painless life that I forgot about...I was good with the low starch diet for awhile but the Enbrel kicked in and wow...I was able to run across the street...
I do the 25ml twice a week shots...but when in a flare, after not having it for a month or so....I did two shots, one in each thigh...man did that work...whew!!
Hang in there and you will hopefully feel the difference with just one shot... Peace Linc

Hi Bert, i'm on enbrel and am currently trying to sort out my dosage as it looks like i've been overdosing (i.e the enbrel hasn't been clearing my body before the next jab and after 3 months was leaving me floored). I was taking the max 50mg one shot per week but i was getting so wiped out by it that i'm now trying to go as long as i can before taking a jab to see how that works, there's also a chance its cause some gynae troubles for me. After 3 weeks I was really ready for a shot so will see how that does me. I'm all for tweaking to get it right for you, so easy for docs to say take was the literature tells you in some blanket statement but we're all different and if you can do as well on half the dose then i'd go for it and see how you get along.
Good luck!
Sarah x
