I had my 3rd Remecade infussion on Oct10th and they gave me tylenol,benadryl and solu cortef before the infussion and I had no side effects this time....then...exactly one week later I woke up feeling better then I have in years!!  I just hope it continues...I am now starting to slowly cut back on my other stuff...Naproxen (really want to stop this one alltogether) and Methotrexate (now my dosage is half of what I was taking) Dan

Congratulations! I am hoping to be there soon. Where are you going for your infusions? Just curious!
It was a week ago I had mine.....and I have to say that my SI was bothering me yesterday, and it hasn't done anything to relieve the pain in my right ankle. It sucks because it is my left SI usually that bothers me, and add that with a sore right ankle and I don't know whether to laugh or cry....I usually do both......
I was standing in bedroom in the middle of the night a couple weeks ago having to go to the washroom and I thought I was going to die beacuse I wasn't sure how I was supposed to get there. I was in EXTREME pain in my SI and my ankle - opposite sides. I would burst out laughing and then start crying. I am sure it would have been quite the site to see, bed head, crying/laughing.....
Lord help me!
At least I am still laughing.
That is great news.....I have another infusion in another week. I hope I am not too far behind you.
On a side bar...I went to see Paul Simon last night at the Hummingbird Centre - Can I tell you how fantastic it was!!!!

Hi Amy ....hopefully the remecade will kick in for you soon....mine was 1 week after the third infussion so about 2 months.
I go to Barrie at the Huronia Medical Center ,but I want to try to get them done at my local hospital...they have done them before for others.
Are you going to the Windsor gathering this weekend?

Man, when remicade wears off, it wears OFF, I was pretty much perfect for 6 weeks  October 15th, things started going downhill, my 8 week time period is up October 31st, and I am slogging through til the infusion, can't wait .... fishy

Fishy, I can't remember how long you've been on Remicade, but you might want to talk to the doc about increasing the frequency of your infusions. My doc and I are talking about putting me on a 7 week schedule after my next infusion, because the eighth week can be pretty bad for me.
Just a thought.
