Yes, it is the long lost Painindaas. I wanted to say hello to all my friends, who even still remember me, as well as to all the new members who don't.

My life has been a whirlwind over the past year, and there is no possible way to list all the details, so I'll just hit the high points...

A year ago this month, I met the most wonderful woman in the world and it was instant love. We were married in May (yea, yea... I know I didn't tell anyone, but I really haven't had much time). Anyway, I went from being virtually alone to having the truly "instant" family... my wonderful wife and my three awesomely, unbelievably terrific stepsons. Now you can understand what I mean about lack of 'time.' I won't bore you with anymore details... Suffice it to say that my life, like the old song says, 'is but a dream"... a fantastic dream come true where I actually have to get up each morning and pinch myself just for the assurance that I really am not still asleep!

So what brings me around here now? Well, I haven't forgotten this place, and since I have 'serious' AS news to report, I couldn't forget to tell everyone. I went to a new Rheumy a couple of months ago, and she is the best. She was amazed to hear the run around I've been given and said that she would do everything she could to help me. So, anyway, after 13 years of symptoms, 4 other Rheumys, 8 different NSAIDs and countless other meds, 2 Physical Therapists, x-rays, cts, bone scans, bone density tests, multiple oscopys, and tons of frustrations... tomorrow I begin Humira. And if it doesn't work after 2 months, I have the approval of my insurance to get Enbrel!!!

Merrily, Merrily, Merrily...

Johnny
