We got the call this a.m. from Hospice. My Mother is in the dying process. We have been with her all day. I had to come home and rest. My sister is with her and I will go back in the a.m. if she makes it that long. They don't think she will make the weekend. Such a hard thing. It doesn't matter how old you are or how old your mama is. So sad, Possi

I am sorry..I feel for you, my mom just passed 2 years ago and it has been horendous..

I can't imagine my mum not existing and can't begin to imagine what you are going through. Hope your mama passes peacefully, and that you are surrounded by love and support to carry you through this sad time.

Possi, I truly am sorry. Although it is a natural thing that has to happen we can never be prepared for it.
I'll be thinking of you and saying a prayer for her when I go to mass this Easter weekend.

Possi, I am so sorry, no matter how old they are it is so
hard to give them up. It is one of the toughest things
to do, I lost my Mom in Sept. and my baby brother in Nov.
of 1997, now that was a toughie....
Will remember you in prayer.

Oh Possi, I am so sorry to hear that. You have so much other stuff going on right now that I worry about how much stress you are under. Obviously this takes precedence over everything else--you are definitely right about it not mattering how old you are when you lose your mother. I hope that your mother passes peacefully with her family around her and that you find the comfort you need from your spouse, family, and friends. Certainly your friends here at KA will be thinking of you and sending our prayers out to you and your mother.
