Hello Everyone,
I am really loving this web site and the info you offer me.
Not to mention that if you guys are going forward, I do not want to quit either, so you give me the desire to want to continue living.

Ok, about the wheel chairs that Walmart offers.
I just wanna say...oh, thank goodness.

I remember when I was a teenager, I would worry about everything...if a hair was outta place, if my clothes looked ok on my chubby body etc etc.
And now I am riding around in walmart in a little wheel chair and am as thankful as can be for it.

The AS is hurting me more in the past year.
I remember a year ago having a hard time walking around in a store. It is even harder now.
My hubby pushes the buggy and I ride behind him.
I asked him if it would embarrase him if I were to do this.
He said no, that one of these days he may join me and we would have races....He's the best husband!!!

Hi Sunshine,
It sounds like you have a very sweet and supportive husband. That's great.

I haven't used the motorized cart thingys lately, but I've used them a few times in the past. They do help a lot, especially since Walmart is so large. Usually one item is on one side of the store and the rest is on the other. If they would only add a little horn and a cart to hold more groceries!

Do you have a handicap thing for parking? I wonder what the criteria is for that? I'm thinking about getting one. It's difficult some days to do any errands, and if you are walking around Walmart, it would help not to have to park so far away.

Take care, Wanda

Hi Sunshine,

I am very sorry you have AS pain lately, but it will be better.
Your hubby seems to be the one of the best. Have a lot of happy days with him

Say Hi to your husband for me, he sounds like a great guy.

Hope that the pain subsides a bit for you.

Take care,

You have a great hubby. Just be careful with those (the wheelchairs, not the hubby ), I've seen far too many wheelchair collisions there. Just keep hubby in front as a bumper and it should be ok. LOL

Hi Everybody,

Yep he really is the best man for me.

I told him that you said hi, and he says hi back.

We have a lot in common...sense of humor and all that...LOL

I don't know what I did without him.

And the thing of it is...we met after my pain and diagnosis with AS.

When we met, I told him about it and asked him if he wanted to run. He said "yes, towards you."

He is so good to me, he puts my mind at ease about all my concerns and worries about the disease and everything.

Yes, I would really like to have a handicap sticker for my car. I keep forgetting to ask the doctor...that's another thing that seems to not be working as well lately...
my memory and attention span....

hmmmm....where am I...

LOL...just kidding.
