Today I finished my last floor (ward) month as an intern, (first year resident). This is widely reputed to be the most taxing and draining part of Intern year, which is widely considered to be the most taxing year of medical training. My feedback: Quote:
Mike was a wonderful addition to our team, and I was impressed with his performance. He knew his patients well, understood their plan of care, and managed them effectively and efficiently. He consistently contributed on attending rounds, and added multiple interesting insights to our discussions. In anticipation of the upcoming year, we talked about ways to enhance his leadership style, and I would be delighted to work with him when he is a PL-2. Overall, his performance was excellent, and well above what he gives himself credit for accomplishing!
