If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Thanks Val! Hope you're continuing to mend well. Glad to read that you succumbed to a shot of steroids and that you're feeling better for it! For goodness sakes! Don't cross anything that doesn't want to be crossed! But thank you for the sentiment all the same. Thanks, and MY best wishes to YOU for a continued recovery. Hugs, Jeanna

Hello again Maggie from Oz!
Yes, I realise that things aren't quite as complicated once you know that A and B are one in the same, the only problem is there's alot of them! I'm learning though, slowly but surely.
Yes, exam preparations are already underway. Looking for CPR courses, and have emailed about prep courses. Playing with schedulling the exam at the end of April or beginning of May. Likely have to wait for official result in the post before I can go any further.
Sorry you could not find the sort of work you wanted as a CPA, but good on you for getting through the coursework! I know of a few people who have done accountancy training, and it's nothing to be sneezed at, that's for sure.
My best to you and yours, Jeanna

Thanks Bradford, it means alot!
Actually, I'm already Dr Strutsy, I just need to prove to these British folks that I'm a safe doc (not all medical degrees are created equally, and countries have to protect their patients from unsafe docs from other parts). You would hope there wouldn't be that big a difference between the UK and Canada, and in fact, there likely isn't (as I passed their exam on the first go), regardless this is the way forward for me in this land.
Thanks again for your well wishes, Jeanna

Thanks Chelsea. I LOVE it when people's own culture/way of speaking sneaks into the posts. Cheers, Jeanna

Hey thanks Holly! Mind cartwheels? I love it. Between that and Pam's happy dance, we're a rocking bunch! Thank you for such a lovely, warm, supportive message. Loz and I ARE pretty thrilled, but the time is already upon us to start planning stage two, so here I sit knee deep in material deciding on an action plan to forge ahead. Ok, so maybe not knee deep, but you should see how many windows I have open! Ahhh, the common day version of knee-deep. Sorry, all brothers currently attached. Have not met many cousins, will keep you posted Hugs, Jeanna

Well, uhm, I dunno! But I'm feeling pretty 'good' today! Thanks for your congrats and well wishes. If I've said it once, I've said it a million times, with the support of my KA family and 'real life' family, how could I go wrong? Thanks again! Jeanna

Hey Sue.
I don't think it's THE longest, but I'm sure it's up there. In fact, I made IMPERIAL AS kicker with the replies to this thread!!! (3000 or more posts!) Yippee!
Happy to help whenever I can Sue, you know that. Just let me know.
Hugs, Jeanna

Thanks Bill.
Yeah, short appointments makes it difficult, that's for sure, but luckily as a SHO/registrar etc over the next few years, I'll still have a few more minutes/session than a regular doc. At the GP practices I was at in the UK, they scheduled 15 min for the registrars instead of just 10. As well, sometimes people don't show, and you get a bit of make up time there. Or, some appointments are dead straightforward, and you can use that extra time for patients requiring more involved care as well.
I went to this allergist once, who had a sign up in her waiting room. It said something along the lines of, "I take my time with my patients to ensure their best possible care, sometimes this means that appointments will be delayed. I apologise for this inconvenience but assure you that the same care will be given to you in turn." It's always stuck with me, and I've toyed with the idea of bringing it into my own practice one day.
As for shaking hands, no worries, don't you know that's a horrible way to spread things!?
Hugs, Jeanna
