If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey Dan! Great to see you, thanks for popping in on this thread. I've said it many times before, but it's much easier (I think) for people to have faith than to be the one slogging along, writing the exams, thinking, GOSH that's 5 answers in a row I'm not sure about! That doesn't mean I don't appreciate the faith though! As for the title thing-y, it's already my title really, but no one at KA has to call me it, in fact I prefer NOT being called Dr., but alas some chose to anyhow Hugs to you and Janet. Jeanna

Yes George, you're completely correct about the acetominphen, was just using the most commonly used names in both cases. The OSCEs that I've done in Canada, and indeed the one that comprises the MCCQE Part II are structured very differently than the one I'll be taking here in England. Regardless, please PM the failed station, I was a girl guide y'know, and I like to be prepared Thanks for your pride, it means a lot Love, Jeanna

Hey Mig!
Thanks for saying you were thrilled to read the thread title, I was pretty gosh darn thrilled to type it. I realised it was a bit over the top, but frankly I didn't care too much, because I had been petrified before the exam, concerned afterwards, and was just over the moon to have this result.
The OSCE that I'll be sitting here is much different than the OSCEs back in Canada. Back home the stations are 15 - 20 minutes and give you time to take a history and physical, and then discuss a game plan with the patient. Here, they're only 5 min in length and are mostly to test skills. As the General Medical Council over here states it, physicians have proven their knowledge on the PLAB 1, the PLAB 2 is for testing skill sets. The stations are very short (5 minutes) so it will be a very focused (ie. hopefully very straight-forward) exchange.
Now, all that being said, I know of a time in the past when the Medical Council of Canada had a patient with AS on it's Qualifying Exam Part II. And here's the kicker! She was a female patient!
It has been fun sharing the news with one and all, and yeah, Loz has had his lighthouse beams out for me to celebrate this one!
Big hugs to you Mig, Jeanna
