Thanks Pete, for a lovely, lovely post. My mood always lifts when I see Dakatodan in the mix, that'll never change.

Here's hoping the next goes as well. *fingers crossed*

Love,

Awww Klem

I promise not to slack (though I am enjoying the success of passing before I knuckle down completely). I think I may have mentioned but I'm going to take a prep-course where I can get feedback, and will be calling today about basic CPR training, to refresh my skills. I don't take anything for granted.

I'll be sure to pass along Loz's kudos in case he doesn't see them for himeself. We've been forced to live apart for too long to take anything for granted, which is a really lovely way to live.

Big hugs to you Klem, and yes, let's IM again soon Good fun that!

Love,
Jeanna

Oh dear Bilko!

Well, it's safe to say the same is not true of me. I (wait for it) actually encourage dialogue between patient and doc. And what's more, I find it the most enjoyable part of the consult!

Yay Possi! At long last we get to see the face behind the handshake. I'm so glad to 'meet' you all over again.

I hate when the internet gremlins steal a post from me. Sure, it's likely just me forgetting to hit the submit button, but I'd much rather blame them for it. Thank you so much for this post, and whatever completely supportive invisible one came before it. Double thanks!

Hugs,
Jeanna

Hey Connie! Thank you for popping in!

How are things going for you and Drew in the IOM? I'm sure the two of you are as happy as peas in a pod, which is how Loz and I are, when sily things like exams don't get in the way of enjoying our time together .

Hugs,
Jeanna

Hey Jude!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post in this thread. I know you're quite new to KA, but not to the AS beast, and I just wanted to extend my belated welcome. Hope that KA is everything (and more) that you want it to be. Look forward to getting to know you better

Hi Jeanna,

And thank YOU - it's good to be back
This must be one of, if not THE, longest threads we've ever had??!! Hope you haven't got a heavy workload these days????

I'll have to check out the KA Pharmacy, as there are a few things I need to ask you about some time. I just never seem able to sit here long enough to get there at the moment

Anyway, thanks again for your good wishes.

Hugs to you (and Loz of course!)

Sue

I think things have improved a little though of recent years. The bunch of stiffs that were hospital consultants decided to try to be more friendly and adopted the policy of introducing themselves and shaking your hand at the commencement of the consultation. You could hear their teeth grinding as they approached you; I don't know who was more frightened, them or me.
But as a GP you will have an average of 10 minutes per patient so I imagine you will have a restless and fidgety queue building up in your waitng room. But I'm sure when they enter your room your smile and hello will instantly defuse their aggro. Just don't try to shake their hands!

'Then you should say what you mean,' the March Hare went on. 'I do,' Alice hastily replied; 'at least - at least I mean what I say - that's the same thing , you know.' 'Not the same thing a bit!' said the Hatter.
