Darn it, didn't realize that it was a Canadian site (I thought those ended in .ca ). It would have made the price even better (about $32 US). I don't think they'll ship to here.

Hey Laura...

It is made of a closed cell foam and retains it shape. I too slept on buckwheat but much prefer this one. And I am buying another one for travelling.

Hey Doug, I like the better, clearer picture of you!
I'm not sure, if the pillow retains its shape, then when you sleep on your side, doesn't it push your jaw over? That's what I meant. That's what I couldn't handle.
Happy New Year!! Laura

Awesome pillow - although I can see about the jaw thing

I've been using a shaped pillow for 8 months now - and I sleep sooooo much better - it's a godsend

I reckon I used to turn over at least 30 times per night due to various aches. With a devent mattress and this new pillow it is more like 5 - 8 times. Enough to prevent morning stiffness but not enough to disrupt sleep

Being a Brit, this is a UK one available from http://www.spinalproducts.co.uk/

goto products, pillows and its the Harley pillow - the picture isn't great but it's not as extreme / hardcore as the one Doug showed - I guess it depends on the jawache thing

The best thing about it (as I'm a side sleeper too) is the cut away which allows you to get your shoulder in the right place - hey presto, no shoulder pain on waking up in the morning, used to suffer terribly with that.

I also use a wedge on my computer chair with a lumbar roll at home to remind my of the correct posture!

I guess they may have a distributor overseas

Cheers
Jo

forgot to say that it costs about 25.00 UK pounds - you can do the maths!

Hi Jo!
Nice to meet you in pictoral!! Nice!!
I looked at the picture of the pillow you mentioned, and it was a little hard to see with that pretty girl in the way. Is it a lot like the one Doug showed us? I live in Canada, so it would probably be best for me to order that one.
Thanks again, and happy, restful, painfree sleeping to you!
Laura

Laura,

Thanks - it seems to have gone a bit pixelly!

I agree you can see exacly because the girl is in the way - the main difference to the one Doug showed is that it does NOT have the deep impression in the middle of the face of the pillow which looks like it clamps your head in one place - thats about it

Good luck - it'll definitely make a difference

Cheers
Jo

I've tried the buckwheat pillows but I find that they are too cold for my face and ears.
I currently use 4 pillows. Two small ones under my head, one between my knees (for back and leg pain) and one that I hug onto (Side sleeper) so that I keep proper posture. My husband always complains that he doesn't get any pillows.

Great Picture Doug...much better than the other. We now know what you look like. Thanks for the info on the pillow. I'm looking to get a better one myself. I sometimes need 3-4 pillows. Sometimes they are under my head, sometimes under my hip or knees. Never know where they'll end up. What I would really like is one of those beds that they show on TV. The one that allows you to elevate your head or feet. I found when I was in the hospital that I was sleeping much better with my head and feet almost all the way up. I looked uncomfortable to others, but I was very comfy. Just like my recliner...I sleep there often.
Thanks again,
Lisa
