If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

i remember i did when i first started, and aswell once when i started the apple diet. i didnt know why, and i still don't. all i know is that i went through a stage where i thought the diet didnt work for me, but i stuck at it, and pretty soon that pain did go away. sorry that's not much help huh, but at least you know i think it's pretty normal for some people, maybe the pain after you start the nsd is not a.s-related that much at all, but the body getting used to the changes or something. anyway, the best of luck to you, and just stick at it, cos it really is worth it! alicia

aswell, just make sure you're not eating anything that COULD be starchy. i had to really go NO starch for a while, until i lost all my pain (and no medication). yeah i went a bit overboard... cutting out even most vegetables; i think my diet consisted only of straight fish hehe, and supplements for gut healing, but i was trying to heal my gut up. anyway, the thing is, that now, i can eat such a variety, including as much rice as i want, and even rice flour (in small amounts) so i can make bread etc out of rice flour. okay, i've got a bit off the topic now, but what i mean is, even the smallest things can make you flare and think the diet doesnt work. be really careful. but don't give up!

thanks for the responses. the only things i have eaten are chicken, mushrooms, and cucumbers. but i really think it's a herxheimer type of reaction. basically the same reaction i had when i started antibiotic therapy. the critters release toxins as they die causing an initial increase in pain. would like to know if anyone else has experienced this on the diet.

Hi Hiker,
I believe certain mushrooms are an issue... also replied to your Primal Defense post... that product caused me problems.
