I know I have not posted in a long while, but let me get you all up to date on what is going on with me.


First I lost my internet connection at home and I still havent gotten it back. so I am doing this from work, yes I still work at Dell. Second My car decided to explode on the Highway on my way to work from San Antonio, so for 3 weeks I was on vacation while I thought I was going to lose my job, my boss didnt tell me that he put me on vacation. then a few bill collectors said that I tried to rip them off and want to sue me or worse throw me in Jail. and all the while My AS was flaring up so I spent most of that time off of work in bed sleeping. All the stress I was under was not good for me. also I need to get some new Glasses, but I wanted to know if there is a special type of eye doc that I need to see, since I cant go to a regular eye doc, tried to several times and was turned away because they could not give me an accurate eye exam. if any of you know what type of doctor I need to see let me know. thanks all

Wow, it sounds like you've had more than your share lately. I hope things will start going better for you now.

I can't answer your question, but did you ask any of the doctors who turned you down if they could recommend someone? Do you have a rhumy? Maybe you can ask them.

Jeremy, I don't know you or your history of eye problems-is it because you get iritis? If an Optometrist can't seem to help you, perhaps an Ophthalmologist may. You may need a referral from your medical doctor

its not that I just move my head in to position to get the eye exam done correctly. so I have been using the same prescription for about 5 years now, becuase I cant get into the machines to test for a new one. my Rhumey is retiring at the end of this year so I have to find a new one. so I really dont bother asking him much anymore, hes not that much help. well I just thought I would ask anyways.

Jeremy, I have the same problem, last time I called around and found an eye institute in OKC that said they had a pair of test frames that they put on you and then change lens. When I went for the app. the Dr. happened to have and electric adjustable chair, and just tilted me back until I was in the right position to look through the machine. I got a pretty good fitting without having to use the special frames. J.R.

Sounds like you have a boss who values you - something that seems all too rare in our world of treating humans as marketable resources. I am sorry to hear that you've been having creditor troubles. And that you're flare has been exacerbated by all of this. Sometimes it just seems never-ending, doesn't it.

I cannot help you with your eye doctor question, but it seems Oldtimer has a good one, so I know you are well looked after there.

Hi. I have the same trouble some days. From the time I get up I can not focus. Strangely, my eyes have gotten a bit better the last few years. I wish you well.
