If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I sent a text message to Jo last night and heard back right away. He is away on Business in the South of France and so is well away from the trouble.

Yes Bilko works near one of the ares of trouble. No post from him is perhaps not a surprise, but if anyone has heard I'd sure like to know too.

Hey Bill. While we've got circumstantial evidence suggesting (hopefully strongly) that you were unscathed in yesterdays happenings, it seems that there are quite a few of us who would really appreciate hearing from you directly... When you get a chance, drop us a line, OK?
best, Jeanna

On reading all these posts, I started thinking about international connections. Because of KickAs, all its readers 'know' someone in London. And from all the outpouring of sympathy, care deeply. Because of being on KA, its not an anonymous shocking blip on the evening news, its Loz/Jo/Bilko etc 's backyard.
It is my belief if the world only had MORE international connections like KA, there would be less 'incidents' like the ones in London. Sure enough, the people on KA squabble, complain and bicker with one another, but the underlying fact of a disease that doctors and even close relatives completely misunderstand, makes KA a sanctuary.
Now a sanctuary doesnt shut out the real world, but its members are intensely aware of each other's troubles. There are many viewpoints on KA, but the most that goes sailing through the air is a nasty post.
The real tragedy of the London bombing (as with the Russian theatre siege and the Omagh bombing), is that once again, it comes to everyone's attention, that to someone out there, this is a solution. The hatred is shocking.
The fact of being the wrong religion/colour/language/ethnic origin/country of origin puts us all on somebody's black list somewhere, whether we like it or not.
So, please, would all KA members be kinder to each other and to your families?

I am so sorry for my friends in London, especially our KS friends. It is so heart wrenchiing to me. I stayed in my jammies most of the day. No desire to do anything. I also have family on vacation there. And the twin sister living there. They were at the Starbucks when it happened. Normally she would be on her way to work on the tube about that time in the morning. And her sister would have been in panic if she was here in the US. My prayers go out to all of you.
God bless, Doreen

Hey Jan - You're not stupid at all. When Sally first wrote this post, Loz replied with the information he had, which was a post entered by Bilko at 9:09 am London time on July 7th (in the ASylum, see here). As you've pointed out, Bill only posts from work, so I'm hoping we're OK to infer that he'd made it safely to work that morning. But I'd also feel much better if we had confirmation from Bill himself. Hope that clears up what I meant. If I'm missing something please fill me in. Hope you're doing alright in your part of the world. Jeanna
