Mike, well done, sir. I know you've worked really hard and some 'post-grad' partying is much overdue.

Hugs,

Hey DocLightning.

Congrats on the milestone, and much good luck to you as you begin your peds residency July 1st. As we've discussed before, peds residency positions in Canada are coveted spots, I know of broken friendships, and many sad med students, so I hope that your training is an exhilirating experience, and that you enjoy as many moments of it as you can.

Please share photos with us as Loz did with my grad (see Asylum). Did you all do the hippocratic oath? I wonder if we use similar versions? Would be interesting to compare notes.

We don't call our Canadian residents interns, first years are R1s. Is this bc the US still has a common first year (despite having to be matched to a residency before starting it?).

Hope your ceremony and celebrations were meaningful events. It'd be nice to raise a glass sometime, share stories and toast our respective futures.

All the best Mike,
Jeanna

Way to go Doc Lightning. We're all so proud of you.

How did the move go, or are you still in the process? Hope that goes smoothly for you. We missed you on last weekends outing but NYers look for any excuse to get together. Let us know when you're all settled.

Outstanding achievment, Mike. hip hip hooray

Hi Mike,

I think you will be a great and compassionate Doctor because you have AS. You will truly understand how patients feel with their sickness, helplessness and frustration. I know time is limited but I hope you may listen to them more and help them emotionally as well as physically.

You made a tremendous accomplishment especially with your sickness Keep up your good work !

Olivia
