Linc, If there was ever arguement that could possibly make me move East, you just made it! I would LOVE to have been with you! However, I would die the first winter so I'll have to stick to the SouthWest deserts.

Pete

Hey Lisa!!
I hear you with the 9/11 and Oklahoma memorials...I get choked up every time I've been down to "ground zero" and it is constantly changing, which is just freaking wild...I can't believe the whole thing, really...as I'm sure you have felt w/Oklahoma...we all freaked out on that here in NYC....so hard to deal with...I found a Jersey memorial, at a St. Joseph Catholic church, they got pieces of the Trade Center and created a fantastic place to pray, meditate, etc...whatever you do, it's a powerful place to 'get in touch'....I was bowled over...you can touch pieces of the building...

anyway, here in NYC I tend to look out for people more (good and bad), but there is no way to really 'profile' anyone...my Greek friend could be mistaken for a terrorist, and yet I look under subway seats and check people out...what can you do, but 'be aware'...

But in Astoria you can eat Greek, Italian, Columbian, Chinese, Japanese, Health Food Stores and Subway!!! Plus dollar stores, good groceries, my gym, pet store, and cool bookstore, so I'm loving it as we head into summer!!!

Now to get my Enbrel!!!

Peace
Linc

Dude, once again you are toooooo freakin' funny...
Now make a pun on "Wilson's Warbler" or the "Tufted Titmouse" that landed on my hand!!! While I was chatting up a lovely woman, no less, in the middle of the "Ramble" in Central Park! After it landed on her shoulder!!

I must be that tall skinny ruler, as we all know that you ROCK...

Peace

My cats and rabbit are too much...fish take more work, I swear!!!

Hey Pete!!!

I hear you with the Southwest desert thing....having relatives in Phoenix and Albuquerque I totally dig that whole area of the U.S. But Central Park is my second home...a man made park, and a focal point for the city....wow...such beauty...and nothing like a good brunch and then a nice buzzing walk through the park...oh yeah...

You should do what the rich east coasters do...a house in the southwest for the winter, and then take in the change of seasons in the east...oh yeah...just pretend and rent if necessary...nothing like a Central Park spring...May is the best...although our weather has not been the best recently....

but it still rocks, like...yes...YOU...

Peace

Hey, we're all old together!! I don't have a cell phone, no iPod, but may just have to suck it up...Gates thinks everyone will listen to music on their cell phone using his technology...but...when will teens actually answer the phone!!??

Peace
