Hi, I haven't been around for a long while but I thought I would pop in and see how you were all going. It must be about a year since I last logged on so you can imagine my surprise as to how the site has changed. Think it might take me a while to read the back log of posts and probably a little while to learn how to navigate around etc........ Meanwhile, I'm still alive & kicking (AS!) and pretty good. Hi Gwyn!
I've just read your bio - it sounds as though we have quite a lot in common! (Some good - some bad!) 
I'm also an ex-pat Brit, but from the S. East (Surrey), and have had symptoms since the age of around 19 (not iritis though, thankfully! Touch wood, I've only had one bout of that, so far, and that wasn't until after my dx.It was horrendous, so I can really sympathize with you.....)
We came to WA in 1984, and I also didn't get my dx until we'd been here several years. (It took me 25 years all together!) 
Anyway, I'm not sure if we've met b4 (I have a shocking memory!), but it's always nice to welcome a fellow Aussie/Brit (back) to KA!! Glad you found your way to the new site.
