I just came from the dr. where I found I have blood in my urine. Doing some reading, I see that can be a side effect of MTX. Have you ever had that problem? I have just have a lot of stuff going on right now so who knows. I am just curious about the relationship and am glad I see the rheumie Monday.

Could be a number of things, but from experience, I had this twice. The first was kidney stones that caused it, and the second time, my right kidney failed. i had this little problem too for a while...but i also had blood involved with other bodily emanations at the same time...things got a little wierd for a while ...blood in urine became the least of our problems and eventually it went away all by itself much to my relief...good luck. aloha Ben

take it easy could be an infection you get ill off tot eh Dr and if it gets bad quick ER.......get your bloods checked etc....

I really don't choose either one of those. :o) I guess I let myself get a little frightened because wierd things can happen with the Lupus and I know the MTX can cause it also. I just had to get myself together. I will be glad to see the rhuemie.

I got some antibiotics and got started on them. I hope this takes care of it. She said instead of 3-5 day course she is giving me a 7 day course and then we will see. I will be seeing the rheumie in the mean time which makes me feel better.

My hubby has had those a couple of times. REALLY don't want that! That must be terribly painful. I am not having any pain, just the blood. She says I have an infection. I hope it responds quickly to antibiotics. Infection and MTX aren't good together I don't think.
