If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Johnny, Johnny, Johnny, That's the kind of attitude that makes the NSD'ers crazy because if you're willing to give up the bread and potatoes, then you might not have to give up as much to the disease. But, hey, I ain't sayin' nuthin'!! Best wishes! Paula

Oh Johnny!!! That makes me so sad! I often read your posts and I know how badly you suffer from this monster and how depressing it is. What if you were one of the lucky ones like my husband who find that by eliminating starch their life is turned around? Wouldn't you at least like to TRY it rather than dismissing it out of hand? Yes, you have to give up certain foods, but if the diet works for you then you will also be giving up pain and sleepless nights! Isn't it worth at least considering or trying for a few months out of your whole life? If it doesn't work for you then no harm done, go back to eating what you like for the rest of your life. But, hey, each to their own, right? I hope you find what works for you and that you are doing OK. And I'm not trying to tell you what to do, I respect your choice. You're a grown man and know what you're doing. But if it was me suffering as you do in the back of my mind I would always be thinking "what if......." and I couldn't stand it! I would want to explore all avenues of possible treatments, be that meds, diet or other alternatives. All the best Chelsea

I didnt' mean to start anything. I was just being honest. I have tried it some, though I'll admit probably not enough to honestly critique the diet. When I was trying it, I was cranky and the fatigue made AS fatigue look like a walk in the park. And it is very difficult for someone of my size to eat enough to keep going without starch. I promise it is.

I have to say that this is probably one of the best discussions we've ever had on this particular subject. Well done, everyone. It was very interesting to read. Hugs, Kat "A life lived in fear is a life half lived." - Strictly Ballroom
