I'm swamped up to my eyeballs with work today, so I wanted to make sure that I wished my fellow Canucks a very happy and safe Thanksgiving Weekend. May you all be with people you love. I, for one, will be doubly thankful once this day ends and I can get on a train (with a bar car of course) for Bracebridge! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving! Enjoy your trip by train - it'll be lovely this time of year.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians here. There's nothing like a great celebration this time of year. Considering that summer seemed to pass us by here, I'm happy to report that tomorrow will be a sunny 26c in Regina - amazing that it's actually happening on a holiday weekend. So, there's justice somewhere in the world. We do have a lot to be thankful for, even though most farmers here would say it was one of the worst harvests in history.
Not to forget - a happy Columbus Day to everyone south of the border ...

Thanks Kat for posting this! You beat us other Canucks to it! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I had the pleasure of a wonderful meal yesterday,(Sunday) with most of my extended family, and today we get to enjoy another feast with my daughter's new hubby's family! There are bonus to letting your kids get married! Hope you have a great weekend! Laura

Happy Thanksgiving all. We had Grandma for dinner last night. Whoa, what I mean is that we had Grandma come over to our place for dinner last night. And the night before, we went over to my sons place for dinner which gave me a lot of time to play with my little grand-daughter. For dinner tonight, hmmmm, maybe leftovers. I too enjoyed dinner with my favourite loved ones.. It was excellent. A lot to be thankfull for, that's for sure. We all should count our blessings much more often - right ?  Maggie
