If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am stting at the computer in sun glasses looking at a blurry screen (pupils dilated), but I am excited about my eye doc visit so I had to tell somebody. Anyway, I just got home from the doc and my eyes are fine. Not only did he not see any signs of iritis, but he said my eyes look healthy and my vision is great. He thinks my symptoms may be a result of just moving to Oregon(new climate) and allergy related. I think it might be a combination of that and anxiety, but either way it is good news to me. Now if I can just get some answers to the joint pain situation. The eye doc was awesome too. Very patient and willing to listen to me. I will be very HAPPY if I can find a rheumy with his same demeanor and patience.

Hey, Great news on the eyes. Very important for independence. Good luck on your search for a rheumy, sometimes it takes a few tries before you find a good one but don't give up. Klem

Hey Mike, It's good to hear your eyes came out find in the test. Living on the East Coast I don't know much about Oregon and the doctors there, but here is a link that might help you on your search. http://arthritis-symptom.com/states/oregon.htmHope this helps, Brent

That is excellent news Mike! Good for you, for getting in to see an eye doc and making sure that all is okay. I hope you'll be able to find an equally impressive Rheumy, who is willing to listen and investigate all your concerns. Best of luck in your search and let us know how it turns out. Take care, mig

Great news Mike! Were your eyes sensitive to light when you had your problems or were they just generally irritated?
regards,
/Mattias (at the moment recuperating from an iritis flare)

Thanks all. My eyes are mildly sensitive to light but not painfully so. My biggest concern was the dryness, and the frequent feeling (again not painful) that I have an eyelash or something in my eye. The more I think about it the more I wonder if my eyes have always been like this, but as I have had more joint pain I have become so hypersensitive to everything about my body... that the smallest things seem new. I am sure most everybody on here can relate to that... or at least I hope so... because sometimes I feel like I am going crazy :)

Mike - I am happy to hear the good news - I have the same problems with my eyes with the dryness, sensitivity to light and tears. I was going to get mine checked because I started to get paranoid, but I think I will put it off unless they get worse- Shari
