If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I flew back to Sydney from Bangkok, Friday Bangkok ,Saturday Sydney.
All I can say is that I hate flying. It hurts big time.
I think I can last about 4 to 5 hours on a flight, but after that it is a killer. Bangkok to Syndey is about 8.5 to 9 hours.
I use to like flying, but after AS has made so much damage, flying is not good.
Back for Blood tests (methotrexate) and Doctor appointments. And collect more medications.
The bad part is that I have to fly back to Bangkok in 2 weeks. I have enough time to just recover and then face the return journey. You could call it torture, but being with Jacqui is worth every bit of the torture. Isn't that sad, we are willing to kill ourselves to be with our loved ones.
I am not looking forward to the return flight.
Take Care Wayne

Hi Wayne, Welcome back to Aussie Sorry to hear about your flights I do know that they take their toll on you. Any word yet on when she can move on or is her work still very busy? we were in sydney a couple of Days ago as My step daughter from Alice is visiting for a week. We'll be back there on thursday very earl to take her to the airport much to the dissapointment of my other children whom adore the ground she walks on. Are you flying homw cattle class or business.......if you travel cattle class it may be worth the extra expense to get yourself a bigger seat and fly in style. Maybe use some frequent flyer points to upgrade yourself if you have any. So you may be finding out soon how the Remicade trial will go? I do hope that you make it in I cant really see why you wouldnt fit the strict criteria. So did you fill up on Easter egss yesterday? my kids are still hanging from the roof from the sugar rush. We will take them for a drive today...........were gonna tie them on lead ropes to the towball and drive around in circles with them running behind to try and work off the sugar. Hope you feel better soon........Do you take muscle relaxants before your flights? If so does it help? take care Sal The most important questions you will ever answer are those that your children ask you.

Hi Sally,
Hope things have improved for you.
I am flying World Traveller Plus, it is between economy and business class (it is basically the old business class).
Jacqui is a travelling resource, this current project ends in August, but after that we could be any where in the world.
No easter eggs.
So how do you keep up with hyper kids.
Take Care Wayne

Not much fun on those long flights. Funnily enough it's probably worth taking an NSAID before the flight - never thought i'd ever say that. Seriously, half an aspirin for anti-thrombosis is recommended by my GP for "normal" people and are we with thicker, inflammatory blood more prone i wonder? Maybe just travel First Class instead and stretch those legs out Ted I've got Crohn’s disease... ...and he's got mine...Spike Milligan

Hi Wayne, That World Traveller Plus is a brilliant compromise, isn't it?? I'll never fly any other way now (which means I won't be doing much flying, as it's sooo expensive, but never mind.......:( Hope you recover from the flight soon. I usually dose myself up with everything I possess, then try and sleep/go unconscious for as long as possible once I'm on the plane. Good luck, Sue

Hey Wayne, sorry to hear that you must endure this to spend time with your beloved. I remember flying back from Kathmandu one time. I was pretty airsick on the 6 hour hop from Kathmandu to Hong Kong so if I was at all uncomfortable otherwise, I don't remember it. However, the 12 hours from Hong Kong to Vancouver were quite the treat. I went on regular walkabouts around the plane because I simply couldn't sit still that long. Of course, the 9 hours spent in Hong Kong airport between flights didn't help. Have you ever tried to sleep on the benches in the waiting room there??! Anyway, the upshot is, do you get up and stretch/walk about during these long flights? And drink tons of water?? Many hugs, Kat
