If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi There, I know that coffee does deplete calcium from our bones if your drinking more then four cups a day. I understand that many A/S folks do develop Osteoporois, so I would think we need to be careful.

I sure hope not Maureen! My coffee in the morning really jump starts my day! My favorite is Green Mountain, Rain Forest Nut. I drink it black and I make it strong! For me, I have no bad effects drinking coffee such as increased pain etc. however, Without coffee = --> With coffee = --> Here's a thread you might find interesting about coffee that was started back in Dec. in the NSD forum. https://www.kickas.org/cgi-bin/w3t/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=starch&Number=142017&page=&view=&sb=&o=&vc=1#Post142017peace & love Kathy "The most beautiful stones have been tossed by the wind and washed by the waters and polished to brilliance by life's strongest storms."

Hi Maureen I'm with John. I hope not I don't drink coffee. But I drink at least 10 cups of tea a day when I am working and prob. more when I am off. I am trying to cut down since I know caffeine is bad for the bones. So I guess in a way it is bad for AS .If it is something we like we know it isn't good for us don't we?? Take care Valerie

I too have heard of caffiene being a prob with absorbtion of calcium. Even though I know this I drink very strong coffee. it gets me going and keeps you going!
