Hi! This is Cassandra. I am sorry we haven't been able to update you recently. My mom wanted me to make a post though. She is doing a lot better. She is using a combination of the wheel chair and cane. She can't get up the stairs to get on the computer and make a post yet. She is still having quite a bit of pain but she is working with the doctors on changing and increasing medications. She is going to the doctors tomorrow. We went on a cruise because it had been planned for a long time and luckily with the help of a wheel chair she could come. It was very relaxing for her and we all had a great time. She really would like to thank everybody for their cards, posts, calls, prayers, and love. She misses you all and loves you all. Love Cassandra

So where was the cruise to.

Hi Cassandra... and thanks so much for the update on your Mom! Please tell Simone that she has been in my thoughts daily, and I'm so relieved to hear she has found some level of relief from that painful and dreadfully long episode. I was very worried and yet optimistic that the doctors would find some help for her if they really put their heads together. I'm glad she has a few aids to help while in this recovery mode. As helpful as the wheelchair may be, it is having a helpful daughter like you are (willing to run up and down stairs, typing posts etc  ) that must really warm her heart! I'm happy your whole family was able to make the cruise together, as I'm sure each of you were all due for a nice break. Give hugs to Simone for me, and thanks again Cassandra! mig
