Greetings fellow Aser’s,

It has been quite some time since I have been here but because of the “miracle” that I have received I had to come back and share with those that can most relate to my past physical trials and hopefully receive some of the same blessings.

I have already written out my story so I am going to just copy it below. Please feel free to e-mail me if you want more information.

Blessings to all, Steven

Steve’s Nikken Story

December 12, 2003

Before I get to the “good stuff” I feel the need to set the stage by explaining the physical challenges I have lived with for virtually all of my adult life. When I was 20 years old, I’m 47 now; I was admitted to the hospital with joint pain and intestinal problems and told I probably had a disease called ulcerative colitis.

Some time in the next three or four years they told me my joint pain was a somewhat rare form of arthritis called Ankylosing Spondylitis that usually strikes young adult males.

My intestinal problem was not ulcerative colitis but Crohn’s disease. Both of these diseases can be, and were for me, extremely painful. Through out the next 6 or 7 years I was in and out of the hospital for weeks and even months at a time. I was given a myriad of drugs with almost as many side affects, including peptic ulcers, but they were never able to get control of the disease. During this time I went through 3 major surgeries for the Crohn’s disease, which eventually put an end to the pain and other major symptoms of the disease, except that eventually I dropped in weight to about two thirds of what my normal weight was.

The arthritis progressed steadily to the point where my hips are fused and immobile, my spine is virtually fused also so that I am continually stooped forward at about a 65 degree angle when standing, and my neck and shoulders are some what effected with what I guess is about a 30% restriction in their mobility. I also have occasional knee discomfort but still have full motion in both. Along with this I have had chronic fatigue, which has varied in it’s intensity from having many days that for the most part I felt a fair amount of energy, to days where I would sleep 18 hours and still be tired. I’ve also had continual minor symptoms of sinus congestion and also allergic type symptoms with my eyes where they become dry, itchy, extremely sensitive to light and sometimes have a grainy or mucus discharge. And some time in the last 8 to 10 years I lost my sense of smell.

In about the sixth or seventh year of this medical journey I pretty well put the traditional doctors and their forms of treatment behind me. Since then I have looked to alternative and nutritional forms of treatment and feel strongly that I have benefited to some degree from these, but never anything of a really powerful or dramatic kind.

Now for the “good stuff”. While I was in the treatment room of the homeopathic doctor that I am seeing I met a young lady who had recently broken her leg. She began telling me about her experience with Nikken and how dramatically it had helped and was helping her. It sounded very interesting and so when she asked if I would like to come to a product demonstration meeting, I agreed.

Well I began by trying the Sleep System along with the Magsteps and the Sleep Mask. I began to notice an energy increase by the second or third day and decided to get not only the Sleep System but also the Aqua Pour, the Optimizer II, the PiMag shower system and the PalmMag. The most astounding results so far is the incredible energy I now have on a consistent basis, I’m writing this at 5:00 AM and I feel just great. That is really saying something when you take into account that though I’ve always wished I could be a “morning person” I’ve never been able to function clearly in the early morning, even as a child or teenager. I also have seen a dramatic improvement in my sinus condition, to the point where I’ll probably begin to notice a considerable monetary savings due to the fact I don’t need so many tissues.

And now one of the most exciting things for me. Because of the energy I’ve been feeling, the decrease in discomfort I have when standing or walking, along with the increased flexibility, I had the courage, or crazy notion, to go to the driving range and see if I could hit a golf ball more than a few yards. I felt I would be content if I could hit the ball 50 yards, and totally pleased if by some chance I could hit it 100 yards. I could hardly believe it when my friend Dave said I was hitting the ball up to about 175 yards and also keeping it pretty much in a straight line. I’m now in the process of working to increase my wind capacity and looking to get a set of clubs of my own to try the real thing again for the first time in about 27 years.

All of this has taken place within 3 weeks of being on the Nikken products and my expectations are without limits as to what is next.

Mans discovery of this incredible technology may not be able to help me with the fusion involved in my joints, I don’t know, but I believe the discovery has been ordained by God to help me and others and am in faith that through this technology, or a sovereign creative miracle, His plan is to restore my body to perfect health. That’s all for now but I plan to update this testimonial as the restoration process continues. Glory be to God.

I went bowling today for the first time in over twenty years and had a great time. Bowling for dollars probably won’t be calling soon but I can live with the 90 and 92 scores I got, but just wait till I get the hang of the unique style I have to bowl with for now.

January 1, 2004

I played my first round of golf in over 25 years today, Tiger doesn’t have to worry, but I was pleased with my game. I shot a 102, though it was only a par 59.

Thank you,

Hi Steven!

Wow! I am really happy to hear about your positive experience with magnet therapy. I was introduced to the Nikken products through my massage therapist years ago and I did try the sleep system. Unfortunately for me I was one of the few who experienced more pain with the mattress. I was told a very small percent of people react this way and should reverse the mattress. I tried it both ways with no luck, however, I did/do have noticable improvement in my legs while using the magsteps. I also have a family member who has Osteoarthritis in her neck and swears the necklace has helped.

Ya know, I have that neck wrap but I moved a couple of times and never unpacked it. Think I will go find it and give that another trial.

I wish you continued success with Nikken!

peace & love
Kathy

Hi Steven,

That is wonderful news that you have such success with the Nikken products. I also tried them for about 1 month and did not see any improvement to warrant the expense. But with this disease everyone is different and what works for one will not always work for another. It is definitely worth a try as if you are one of the lucky ones it is a non invasive, drug free method of allieviating pain. Way to go and I wish you continued success with your magnets.

Hi All,

I thought I would just add a small update because I’ve had a number of people ask me if I am still feeling as good as I was when I first told them about my blessings since using the Nikken products. Well my answer to them has been the same each time, yes and even better as the days go by.

I guess people, including me, are naturally skeptical. Especially with all the scams, hype and fraud in our society.

Thank you all who have shared your happiness for me and my new found physical freedom.

God bless,

Steven

Hi Steven!

I just wanted to give ya a little update on my alternative treatments. I finally got back in touch with my favorite massage therapist after years of being out of the area and never having massage do to a crazy/busy life. She is the one who is also a Nikken rep. and turned me on to the whole magnet scene.

Although sleeping on the mattress had an opposite effect on me years ago, I am by no means a sceptic with this therapy. I have set up my first appointment with her for Monday and I am excited, first of all see my old friend as we have lots to catch up on.

I am also excited to see how I respond to her massages again as she has incorporated many of the products such as the mattress pad etc. into her practice. I am a firm believer in timing. Timing is everything in life, from health to relationships and on. I have experienced this first hand with Tempurpedic pillows. When they first came available in this country I tried one for my neck and I couldn't get comfortable so I gave it to a family member. Years down the road I tried it again and I have slept great ever since!

One must always keep an open/positive mind about unconventional treatments for if you don't then it's almost a certainty that it will not work. Just my humble opinion of course.

So I hope after a few treatments I can come back and report to you positive results. For now, I will say again how wonderful it is that you have made such great strides with magnets!

Oh, and I'm going to print out your first post for her to read. I am sure she will love it!

peace & love
Kathy

Hi Steven!

I meant to post sooner but I have been busy and distracted lately.

I have been reading the massage thread in the main forum and have seen many people who have not had good experiences. I know everyone is different and what works for one may not for another but my hope is that people who have never tried it will keep an open mind. I truly believe that finding the right massage therapist and technique is key.

I could be wrong so feel free to correct me people but I believe that a Swedish massage is one of the most gentle forms. It focuses on relaxation. It is not a deep tissue massage. I have had both and the deep tissue massage is more aggressive in loosening the muscles and could be painful. I do know this, that a massage is so beneficial to the increase of blood flow. It improves blood circulation and if given correctly it can improve the nerves in the muscles.

As I said before, I haven't had a massage in about 3yrs. Prior to that I was going on a regular basis and also alternating between two therapists with different techniques, added to that, the acupuncture treatments. I wondered if my muscles would remember and respond well or if I would be right back to square one.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well I did My muscles were obviously responding. I was not a square one, and I was not the same as when I last had a massage but I know now that I can and will quickly catch up if I continue.

My massage therapist is also a Nikken rep. and uses many products (in her private practice only) in combination with massage. Although I could have seen her through the hospital where she also works and where I first started with her, I was excited to see what, if any positive effects I would experience with magnets. It was all good!

One would think I would be a little anxious to lay on a magnet mattress again after my painful experience years ago trying to sleep on one. I wasn’t concerned as this was such limited time that I would actually be on it.

The other good thing was that the mattress was a new and improved model it was so much softer and to my surprise, soooo comfortable!

I need to lay on a similar table at my pain docs for acupuncture. Although the acupuncture really helps me, the table has always been the challenging part. I seriously need to have a chat with my pain doc.

One thing though. I did tell her I would NEVER trade my Tempurpedic bed in for anything! Nope! No way, no how I’m going to stay the stubborn bull on this one. Snort!

Ok so... an interesting thing happened.

My therapist told me she was going to use a magnet down between my feet. I didn’t really understand that she was going to leave it there while working on my neck and back. Ok, to be honest, we were still chatting away so much ( catching up ) that little detail slipped by me 10-15 minutes go by and I mentioned how my feet and legs were feeling a little tingly and light. It was a good feeling though. She reminded me of the spinning magnet between my feet. Spinning? That’s when I realized it really was working! I believe this magnet was called the PalmMag.

“Inside the PalmMag is a powerful, 1,700-gauss magnetic sphere., that spins at speeds up to 1,400 rpm. As this globe spins, it also rotates on a second axis, so the magnetic field is constantly changing its angle of direction. In this way the magnetic field extends at all angles.”

She also used a rolling type magnet on my back, I believe it was the MagCreator.. She rolled this on either side of my spine. She did this for about 5min, no pressure, no pain, again I had a feeling of lightness. I’m sorry I can’t describe it any better than that.

I would also like to mention that in all her years of experience with massage, and of all her clients, I am still the only one with AS that she has treated. I am also only one of two clients that has such rigid muscles, but mine is compounded by pain.

So after my massage I was able to get up off the table with more ease than in the past, despite my rigid spine and I felt so good! I had this massage last Monday, my life stress level has not changed but I still feel the benefits of it!

So Steven, it was a positive experience for me. How much of it is do to the magnets I can’t be sure, but I do know this, I am going to continue massage in this way. Oh yeah!

A final note if you all got this far.

After the session we went to lunch and continued our catching up session

We made a promise that next time I see her we would both be very quiet during the session. The thing is, she’s a bull too and I have a sneaky suspicion her moons may also be in Gemini. So the big challenge is, can we do it?

That’s my story and I’m stickin to it!

peace & love
Kathy

Hi Kathy!

Glad to hear the good report and that you no longer have any problem with Nikkens magnets.

I only have one comment, having the Nikken bias that I do, regarding what you said,

“One thing though. I did tell her I would NEVER trade my Tempurpedic bed in for anything! Nope! No way, no how I’m going to stay the stubborn bull on this one. Snort! ”

Before I got my Nikken sleep system I had and loved my Sealy pillow top mattress, I still have it and like it even better now that I have the Nikken mattress pad on it. So the way I see it we can have the best of both worlds, or beds, what ever the case may be!

Blessings and happy sleeping to all,

Steven

Hey Steven!

In reply to:

Glad to hear the good report and that you no longer have any problem with Nikkens magnets.

You may have misunderstood my original post. I use/used other magnets with no problems, it was ONLY the mattress that gave me more pain. Laying on it for less than a hour was fine with my massage and like I said this newer one appears to be softer.

As far as putting anything on top of my Tempurpedic, well, I don't think that would work as it would defeat the whole purpose of the foam cells as they call them.

"It's made up of billions of high density, viscoelastic, memory cells. The cells are spherical with windows, and the key is…they're temperature sensitive."

"The cells will literally shift position and reorganize to conform to your body contours. The cells shift so you don't have to. Imagine a mattress that's firm where you need it and soft where you want it. It's like having a mattress custom designed to fit your body."

So if anything is covering it then it simply will not work.

However, if someone has a regular type mattress and they are considering an alternative then I say go for it and try the Nikken mattress. It wouldn't mean changing a mattress, as, like you said, you can put it on top. That is why I tried it all those years ago.

Having a comfortable bed is so important for everyone and especially people in pain. I'm glad I didn't give up trying new sleep products because now I sleep so well!

Whatever works eh Steven?

peace & love
Kathy
