I have my acupuncture appointment tomorrow. I am a little nervous about the needles. Will let everyone know how it goes.

Stacie,

In reply to:

I hope so!!! I will def update you. I was told by a few people that it helped them out so I am crossing my fingers for it to work on me. My wife teases me and says have them put one on the top of my head because it makes you happy.

Don't worry, they really don't hurt a bit. Every now and then one will sting a bit, but it's really a "nothing" sort of sting...

Sure do wish you good luck with your acupuncture tomorrow,
I have never had it so have no idea what it feels like.

Good luck,
Mike

Don't worry, the needles are so fine that you will not feel them.

Hope it works for you.
For me it didn't.

Hey Scott!

Try not to worry about the needles, they are very flexible and fine not like a traditional needle. Just relax as best you can. Or you could do what I do
Yep, I'm usually talking (no surprise there ) while my doc is putting the needles in and I have found out more than once that I shouldn't laugh as it tenses my muscles and then it does hurt a little but hey, how often do we get more than a few minutes to talk to our doctors?
Once he wires me up with the electricity, then puts the heating lamp over me he makes a fast get away. He has nice background sounds like ocean waves, waterfalls etc. so I'm all set to fall asleep. Hmm, when is my next appointment???

I hope you have a good experience!
peace & love
Kathy

Wayne,

I suppose some of the pain we endure a thin needle is the least of our worries. Thank you for letting me know your experience. I'm sorry it didn't help Have you tried massage? I am going to try that also. Kathy told me that she has had acupuncture and massage combo.

Maggie,

Thank you, I hope it works out.

Mike,
We are both in the same boat. No experience in what it feels like. Thank you for wishing me luck.

Erie,

Thank you for the insight. Ravn told me that she felt a little burn too only in the spot that hurt most on her when she went in for the acupuncture.

Thanks all,

Scott
