If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Before I knew I had AS I had it done a couple of times for my back and stomach. It made my stomach worse, but then again the doctor probably was putting the needles in the wrong places, not knowing that I had AS. Most places it didn't hurt or bother me at all. In the hads though it felt really strange and a little painful. Let us know how it goes. I am curious to see how well it works when the doctor knows about AS. Eric

Me personally, go for the massage and skip the accupuncture (but I guess you should give it a go). For me the Accupuncture guy went to town on me, not only did I get the accupuncture needles, but he connected some of the needles to an electrical current. Suffered for days after, but perhaps I went to the wrong accupuncturist. Perhaps one day I will get enough courage to go to another. As for a massage, name me one person who hates massages. And an even better combination, spa bath/hot shower/hot bath (opens the pures in the skin) and then massage. Take Care and I really hope it helps you. Wayne, sorry you had a bad experience with the electricity, I actually do better with it. I should point out that my pain doc did not begin my treatments that way. It was a year or so into the traditional treatments before he started making me into Frankenstein I'd have to say the most painful part of the whole thing is just getting on and off the table with a fused neck and spine . I also notice the benefits right away. Scott, I hope we haven't scared ya too much but I thought I would do a quick search on the electrostimulation. Again good luck! http://www.acupuncturetoday.com/archives2003/jul/07starwynn.html "The most beautiful stones have been tossed by the wind and washed by the waters and polished to brilliance by life's strongest storms."

Trust me Maggie, once you have one you'll be making best friends with your therapist and be begging for more! "The most beautiful stones have been tossed by the wind and washed by the waters and polished to brilliance by life's strongest storms."

You have never had a family member massage your shoulders. Well getting a professional massage done is much better, you do it in your underwear or swimmers. I had a good one done over here, sports oil massage, aromatherapy and nature music playing in the background. Although it was a bit pricey, that is why I have not gone back. If you have not had one, try it. Scott don't let me scare you on the Accupuncture, it is definitely worth a try. I think I did get a mad accupuncturist, and that has tainted my experience. Take Care Wayne Edited by wayne on 02/13/04 00:44 AM (server time).
